Sheens is not employed to be bosom buddies with everyone, he's employed to get a winning football team out there. Hastings is objectively a better footballer than Brooks. Brooks may be a nicer bloke.

Totally agree TL but trying to rationalise why he would let JH go so easily ( or what appears to be easily).
Not about good blokes but something must have caused it, apart from JH saying he didn’t want the 13 jumper.
Who really knows, we’re all speculating to an extent.

It's a subjective opinion and not an objective opinion. I prefer Hastings in the middle as an organizer over Brooks as well but Sheens may think differently. All the signs are that Sheens rates Brooks over Hastings in the halves.

Well he must feel something( even if he hasn’t said it) if he’s prepared to go, either money or position of choice, or both, who knows.
I also see the club has put Douhei talks on hold until next year. Makes sense.
