Cleary seems to coach a team very well and has the premiership rings to prove it...Sheens was with us for a very long time to win that only title before being sacked...the others had niether the cattle or a couple had no money...

He is great at getting the most out of the players that he has. He is the worst at developing a good squad.

When the word " - OFFICIAL" gets added to this thread, I'm throwing a few bucks on us for the premiership. Klemmer, IP, Api, Staines, and Bateman will be an outstanding recruitment drive. Uto, Twal, Blore and Talau all back from injury will be like four more additions. 9/17 probables is a fair change up to the team.

I would think it would take 600k+ and the years he wants to secure him. He's a current international with a successful NRL stint with the Raiders. Regardless of his current English form he has the runs on the board.
IMO Bateman is what we lacked this year...a live wire, tough, cocky and footy smart forward.
It's one thing to be tough, talented and energetic but to have the confidence to display all those attributes is another thing.

Sheens seemed to have juniors flowing through regularly. Marshall, farah, Fulton, Lawrence, fafita, woods, brooks, Moses etc..

I can't remember our last decent junior that wasn't established in sheens era.

He can identify and develop tallent, that's for sure.

Dont forget the pathways were neglected until Madge got them going again,otherwise Sheens would have a hell of a lot on his plate next year...
