If Brimson plays his best and Lauire plays his best ..Brimson wins ..just my opinion and he is probably more consistant

Don't disagree, my point was more that Laurie is probably middle of the pack rather than right down the bottom. Brimson certainly more consistent.
I expect many of our backs to look better in '23 as a result of our pack rolling forward more often.

Hard to judge really Laurie never has any space, poor bloke is the smallest battering ram in the nrl. Every one of those fullback plays behind a much better pack than Laurie does. Imo I don't think he's our long-term full back but I'll be happy to be wrong.

Well as long as they give quick supply when we are on the attack and lose the balls when the opposition is on the attack and their sense of direction when passing the ball to their players when they do happen to find a greasy over inflated ball ...they'll be fine

Id love to see if Sheens can turn him into the priceless Brett H style that killed it for the Tigers in the mid 00s An attacking fullback the Tigers have severely lacked since Hodgo departed. Hes got the pace and agility to be that 'always man' back on the inside that Hodgo used to be cutting through the middle off some sweet sweet offloads to streak away under the sticks. I just hope he has the same heart Hodgo did.............thats where its worrisome.

That's right daine Laurie is one of the worst fullbacks in the NRL. I'd give Staines the fullback spot.

Laurie has a great passing game and importantly vision which cannot be coached. He plays like a 5/8 from fullback and would have no issue with the defensive requirements in the halves.

Notice that neither our halves nor our fullback have been signed past next season. Obviously there’s a reason for that. We’ll play 2023 with the incumbents and if they don’t earn an extension they will be replaced. Sheens is making the changes that are needed.
