Politicians get blamed for a lot .....but it's about time we blame the greed of big business for most of our troubles
You dont' have to make record profits year on year .....and the way things are going the lower to middle income earners are already going to have to start choosing what needs are important .....

Personally I think there’s far too much vitriol over political personalities. You can disagree with someone based on their politics/viewpoint but this “lock up X” or “Y is crazy and I hope something bad happens to them” is for the birds.
There’s a stack of politicians home and abroad I despise but I don’t oppose their participation in political life or in most cases doubt their sincerity. In some cases I praise their abilities. Howard is a good example here. Disliked his politics admired his skills as a politician.
I for instance dislike Mitch McConnell because of his duplicity regarding SC appointments but I don’t doubt his work ethic or his abilities in getting things done.
The only ones who truly get my contempt are those who won’t accept losing an election or who are corrupt.

I believe the man himself said that. He also reckons he lost last time because of China. Whether his success claims are accurate depends on, as in most cases, how you frame and measure the argument.
