I like many don't know where AD best position is.
Sheens should give him 8 weeks in 2023 to prove he is a 5/8 and can tackle in the front line.
If he failed than Laurie to 5/8 and Staines to full back. AD then can play in State Cup or get an early release, $900,000 if correct is way overpriced.

It's not hate of Brooks, it is hate of Tigers failure, and Luke has been a main driver of that failure due to him being a) the bloke who's been here the longest b) highest paid player c) halfback, which much like the QB in NFL is the most important player on the field.
People have the dirts with Brooks and wanted him gone because he's been underperforming for an NRL halfback.
If that's the case then Luke Brooks is Ron Massey Cup level

Maguire had to go...Brooks really should be gone too
If AD plays like last season when he was coming back from an ACL then he's not our ideal 6.
However a few people are forgetting that he was head and shoulders our best player in 2021, and finished 8th in the Dally M award votes. He played as a 6 that season and killed it

don't know if he is the type of 6 speed wise that Sheens is looking for though.
Brooks is probably that 6 Sheens is looking for and they recruit a 7 in 2024
As for 2023 we are probably stuck with
7. Brooks
6. AD or Laurie

Can't wrap my head around why people care so much how AD values himself
If he really wants 900k let the kid play out the year and see if he justifies that price tag (most likely won't even with the cap increase) - if he can get that elsewhere good on him I wouldn't be angry at him leaving if he could get that....
Now most likely he won't and his price tag will have to be lowered as no one will offer close to that and that's when the real talks will start.... you can tell AD loves the club and winning games changes everything let's just see it all play out
However the hate here for AD is defs pointed at the wrong direction, him and Joffa were our best players last year but mentally you can see AD was a little defeated last year towards the end with the coach sacking (he was a fan of Madge), ACL recovery (2nd time) and consistently losing, Brooks and Hastings both going down injured and hear in the media about how Hastings and AD may be on the chopping block - with our new boys coming in and a change of culture with Sheens, Benji and Farah following under a full pre season healthy I reckon AD is gonna turn some heads and personally can't wait to see it.... he'll suprise a few next season I reckon

He played Ok that year. Unfortunately that was in 2018. He's played four really poor seasons since then
Dog abandoner liked it.
If he winds up in the centres he will need to work on his defence.
