no he didntThere was a lot of noise though. I thought it was a done deal with all the noise. The POM stated the same thing.
I reckon Twal would be a gun in a better team like Melbourne or Penrith. The fast-style of defence those teams play would suit him to a tee. Melbourne had Tim Glasby playing origin and he was a similar style of player. Not much speed or evasive work, and no pass, but would always be there ready to take the next play, whether that was in attack or defence. Cameron Smith valued players like that because he wanted as many attackers and defenders with active roles in every play. Not every player needs to be a superstar, you need guys like Twal in the team.

Seyfarth is good in the odd game. The difference between his best and worst is miles apart which is why he struggles at NRL level. I'm not sure if he is dealing well with the physicality required to be a regular first grader.Seyfarth would be on a modest contract. He is the type of player needed in every squad to fill out the 30 player roster. Remember his game against the Broncos when I believe he made 50 tackles and more than contributed to the win.
Finucane is another honest toiler who shines with better players around him.I reckon Twal would be a gun in a better team like Melbourne or Penrith. Same issue as Mikaele. Never been taught how to run to space. Better hands than Mikaele though.Seyfarth is good in the odd game. no he didnt
Situation with Brooks has taken a turn in the last couple days, with his management informing the club he intends to sign with Knights from 2024 after November 1.

Am starting to worry about his concussions though, hope he's fully fit would hate to see him leave the game like Fulton did, Fulton deserved so much more he didn't deserve to prematurely retire because of concussions. One of the 1st guys I pick ...every week .....I like defenders ...he could play 350 games and not score a try .....defence wins premierships ...not show ponies who wouldn't scare a tackle bag
Highlight the "done deal" part.He did.
This is a quote from the POM.
Sualii would be awesome but have to be a 5 year deal, long term. One year deals just means a circus starts around April every year, way to distracting and destabilising.Sualii?
On his 1 year contracts?
Now sure, the guy has talent. He has some raw ability. But NO
No
we do not need a 1 season wonder.
Maybe there will crop up a season where our regular fullback will be injured and Sualii will fit the bill nicely.
Roosters bidding 1mil a season for a year by year contract player. Heck 1.2 1.3?
Honestly I would rather have Teddy. Sure you would get a slightly unenthused rep player. But you would know he would be there next year.
Parramatta shows you what to avoid, super money hungry players who won't take a 4k fine but ask for a 50k raise.
