It means we can spend that money on other players. I don't really care about signing him because it's a marquee contract and another option will come along.

Really , there is only one 1/2 playing better than him and that’s Cleary , and he’s not for sale , the others are DCE is over the hill , the storm 1/2 back he also not for sale , so please let us know who u would take ????

He is the best available option. I also assume the club is offering a marquee contract but I'm hopeful it's nowhere near 1.4 million. People on her have stated it's not that much in the cap. I couldn't care less what they earn outside of the cap.

I don't want to get screwed here but we appear to have one available spot in our squad and hopefully that means Woods isn't coming.

Not having a go at you but I think your personal bias is massively playing into this.

I think a vast majority of NRL fans would rank him as, at least, one of the top 5 halfbacks in the game.

I’d personally have him in the Top 3.

Cleary, Nicho Hynes, Cherry-Evans, Adam Reynolds, Jahrome Hughes, Ben Hunt, all better than the Dirty Tanker, and I put it to you good sir that an uninjured Jackson Hastings with that Eels team around him would have looked better than Moses The Dirty Tanker.

Yes I agree my personal bias is playing into it, if I'm being honest regardless of evidence I will continue to say he's no good.
 
Hughes is the smartest half in the comp
Cleary, probably the most well rounded
Moses is third best, imo - has matured and has shown a lot of skill and class (at Parra) in his position.

If we can get him which I think we can/will.... he'll be a very important piece of the puzzle, leading us to finals.

If we want to win games and get to the finals to have a crack Mosses is by a mile the best half on the market. He is exactly who we should be going hard for.

he's still far more improved on what we have. those rankings are my opinion btw

Im not a huge fan of Moses for the way he carried on first time around, but to think he's not one of the top halves in the game is silly definitely top 4 or 5 id say he has Cleary, Hughes, and maybe Hynes in front of him. Imo he's on par if not better than DCE and Hunt, although hes not better than DCE in his prime which hes past now.
