So how is it that the Dogs can fit everyone in that they’ve signed or are going for, particularly if he pays them what they’re worth?Gould is quoted as saying he never underpays a player.

Yeah … and the brains trust still thought worthwhile to go public on it.Let’s be real we were never a chance of getting munster 😂

To push up Munsters price to storm by making us a “real” option?Idk might be more to it Anasta certainly changed his tune on tigers back end of the year which helps given thr presence 360 has.
Huh???Love this bitter take - because we’re so shite at managing our cap, we immediately assume everyone who isn’t is cheating.
We’ve been done for cheating the cap more times than the storm - storm probably more money, but we’ve been done at least twice that I know of….
I agree but feel you are being a bit offensive to gimps with that comparison.Huh???
Storm were done for systemic and intentional rorting of the cap over multiple years - and unprecedentedly had a Premiership nullified!!
We got done because Pascoe is a gimp who offered a job to Robbie outside the rules...
It is like comparing a 2 time shoplifter of packs of gum to a multiple armed bank robber...
Re-write history why don't you!
Sorry mate but that's one of the worst takes I've ever read on the forum. The Storm's systematic cheating of the salary cap over multiple seasons was so egregious that the NRL stripped them of their titles and docked all their competition points for a season. It was one of the biggest scandals in rugby league history, resulting in an unprecedented punishment.Love this bitter take - because we’re so shite at managing our cap, we immediately assume everyone who isn’t is cheating.

To this very day the Storm Chairman is allowed to start up a corporate wagering company and players can invest in it. Make of that what you will!!!!!!Sorry mate but that's one of the worst takes I've ever read on the forum. The Tigers have received a few monetary penalties for comparatively minor infringements of the cap, the biggest of which related to an offer to Farah of a post-retirement ambassador role which ever other club does with impunity.
Theres a lot of us that wouldn't be giving money to the Tigers management based on the last decade. The Laundy Family are reported to be worth 1.4 billion and owners of 70 Hotels across NSW and QLD.
Sounds like Uncle Nick and Easts now have a challenger for their successful business model which most clubs cannot compete with in terms of 3rd party deals.
WT need to find some very wealthy supporters.
If he can get more elsewhere good luck to him. If you are referring to Brooks if he stays his deal will be restructured similar to what occurred with Chris Lawrence. He will be a one club player like Lawrence which is a fine achievement,
He's still a one club WTs' player. A great clubman who came back from a shocking injury.Lawrence notes the club did asked him to move on tho, does that still count?

Tes, the Dogs seem to have a good degree of developing players that could well be stars into the future. Interesting to see the ramifications of now (in buying players vs a relatively short time (in developing their own). Very similar issue to ours.Kiraz is a star, very talented.
Critta lost his confidence when Finucane wacked him
NRL will just turn a blind eye to it. TPAs beed to go as its not a fair playing field. I hope today’s rumoured meet goes well with MM, not holding my breathI've heard the same from a good source, Laundy will buy a premiership. I was told the Dogs official offer for MM wasn't much more than the Eels but the extras will most likely be too good to refuse.
Also Corey Allen was paid out to go to the Roosters. Bet that doesn't appear on the salary cap.
I’m a bit optometric myself.Theres a lot of us that wouldn't be giving money to the Tigers management based on the last decade.
Cautiously optometric

They aren’t drawn up in a contract. Or if they have been, the contracted club has no affiliation with the deal.I don’t understand how Third party payments off the cap are even a thing how can that be drawn up in a contract and registered with the nrl? The nrl is ment to be an even playing field thanks to the cap? So stupid the nrl clubs shouldn’t have anything to do with third party payments it should all be on the players if Gatorade wants to sponsee them that’s fine it’s all up to the players to organise it with there managers
I read on the Parra forum that they provide shares in the Laundy Group of pubs as 3rd party deals. So how is it that the Dogs can fit everyone in that they’ve signed or are going for, particularly if he pays them what they’re worth?
