Yes the Lib Dems, who were whinging about Covid restrictions wanted "Ban Bikkie Tshirts" to represent them.
Honestly, this is a bigger joke the Siebold taking over Haslier. People got arrested for wearing "sons of Anarchy" t-shirts. ... Right...
Anyway it did not make the news much. People really at the end of the day get it. We had to stop covid else people die. I know one family that has lost their dad and Grandad to Covid. No one is providing for their mortgage payments, nor food on their table.
No surprise that Daniel Andrews was re-elected. Instead of hearing a nuanced opinion like "hey why were businessmen allowed to travel but immediate relatives not allowed to see their dying" we see Radical right nonsense in "Gestapo tactics and Fweedum!". The radical right still don't get how they push for their own goal, were a society, your freedom effects my freedom and viruses LOVE freedom.
Sorry guys Viruses don't respect your version of Fweedum. The voters don't either when people are silly enough to pre-select Campbell "Ban T-shirts" Newman as their head candidate. But hey we know why, he is on Fox news and Rupert likes him. ... Fweedum to obey your masters I guess.

Just a friendly observation re Russia and Anti-Nazism.
We see Nazi's as the people who killed the Jews. We know this, we see the concentration camps and get taught this in history, etc etc.
Nazi's though believe in Racial superiority. The Slavic people (of Russia, Ukraine and other states) were regarded as subhuman, as were the jews, Gypses and other races*
A lesser known fact is that Stalin too rounded up the Jews in Gulags and persecuted them as well. Naturally that is NOT taught in Russian history, along with the Holocaust. Russians never learned about it
Because the Nazi's killed lots of Russians and yes were brutal to civilians... in Russia to be a Nazi you are Anti-Russian. Not Anti-Jew.
This is how Zelenskii is regarded by Russians as being a Nazi. The perspective from Russia is totally different. When Russians say they are hunting Nazi's in Ukraine, they mean something totally different to what the west understands of Nazi's.
*Unsure on the Irish how Nazi's regarded them. The American KKK regarded the Irish as subhuman just above the Jews, yet an inferior race.

Courts today on the other hand are throwing out 'plandemic' fines by the dump truck load and there are plenty and plenty of cases being taken up with state supreme courts and the high court for years to come with what was implemented unconstitutionally and against the UN Charter of Human rights during the china virus. Time will tell on that one, talk about jumping the gun.

People still seem highly confused by this. It is legal to let a kid starve on the street, it is not right.
Also, this is NOT reigning in crimes of bikies. This is "YOU WILL NOT WEAR THOSE T-Shirts". Which is exactly why QLD kicked Newman to the Curb. They will not be treated like a year 8 high school class and told their t-shirt doesn't fit the state uniform.
It was Childish, petty, 100% media stunting law that did NOTHING to stop bikie crime. Useless, useless useless.

You're argument seems to be as muddled as your writing prose. Are you advocating for the government over reach of the lockdowns as it suits your political ideology and in turn dictates like a 't-shirt ban' at the whim of whose in power or are you arguing for "fweedums"? You seem to have your foot in both camps and are afraid you cant convince yourself which side to jump to.
