Sheens told him he wasn't a 7 in his plans and that he would be looked at as a 13. Newcastle offered him the 7 and an upgrade. He can sook all he wants but he chose to leave - he could have stayed and proved Sheens wrong.

Hate to tell you but he also said he was happy to play anywhere if it helped the team.

J A C was not what we needed at that time, We needed forwards,and halves, then FB and then centres. Josh would have fallen asleep,before the ball got to him. The cry for Josh was stupid, yes he is fantastic, but a rediculous buy when the rest of the side was a priority

I am a massive Hastings fan but understand its a business and the club has made the right call IF they plan on keeping Brooks or have another half in mind. From Hastings POV he gets to play his preferred position and also pockets 300k extra plus 3 more years and as a player that is a massive win.
Sheen's and Co have had a outstanding offseason to date IMO and if we add Bateman and another one that will be icing on the cake.

Never seen him play but there is massive hype around him. Imagine that present for us long suffering fans.

Now this might be the Xmas juice talking, this would make the saddest of sad Tigers fans get out of bed and believe. These are the results of us taking hard salary cap years, i.e. front loading a bunch of contracts. We've been able to free up a bunch of money for this year and next that we can spend large.

After watching this video, I want him. I want Jack Welsby in a Wests Tigers jumper. GET IT DONE SHEENSY!

Don't mind it. Laurie is very good at front on defence. Has enough pace that he shouldn't get shown up in a one-on-one situation. His speed and ball-playing could be lethal at centre.

Pretty sure that @sleeve was referring to JAC coming back to WT this season, rather than when he chose to sign with Melbourne long before those players were even considered.

I think that’s rubbish he didn’t want to go, he got more money and got to play 1/2 back . As for sheens he would have had a idea he would leave if he said he was only been looked at as a lock . And let’s face it he hasn’t good the pace or the size to play there for 20 odd games , think we good a good trade for him .
