Rubbish , yes he talked a lot on the field , but when I go back and watch the games again , he is slow and didn’t run the ball , he also let the forwards run one out and right next to the ruck where they got smashed , so no he is not a massive lossHastings is a massive loss.
Yep, a bit over rated on here, he was good but not the messiah and yeah my biggest concern was when he was actually the 7 he didn’t get the forwards rolling, as you said. Still I would have kept him or even Madden, coz now we seem to be needing another half before the season starts.Rubbish , yes he talked a lot on the field , but when I go back and watch the games again , he is slow and didn’t run the ball , he also let the forwards run one out and right next to the ruck where they got smashed , so no he is not a massive loss
Have been offline for 2 weeks, so what is the latest with our back up half Moses ? Haven’t seen any recent articles etc.Yep, a bit over rated on here, he was good but not the messiah and yeah my biggest concern was when he was actually the 7 he didn’t get the forwards rolling, as you said. Do we have any projected decision date ?
Think @THE_POM said he would let us know this week with a decision. Many rumours of people who have said this and that. Who knows?! 🤷♂️Have been offline for 2 weeks, so what is the latest with our back up half Moses ? Haven’t seen any recent articles etc.

That mentality might be okay in school but not in the professional game. I would assume all players make it known where they prefer to play with their coach and have open adult communication about it. Coaches will naturally favour some players over others, and the outcome of that will help player and club make decisions about moving forward. No player with any ambition is prepared to play in reserves or second fiddle to a player the coach backs if there is opportunity to cement a FG position elsewhere - the very reason Niccho Hines looked for an opportunity at the SharksI think it's time that someone made a comment about player attitude and entitlement. What's happened to the game that we now have players believing that they should only play in their favourite position. Guys demanding to play fullback or, in our situation, either halfback (Hastings) or five eighth (Douehi) is ridiculous when they're paid good money to do a job for their team in whichever position the coach sees fit. Call me old fashioned but this crap needs to stop. If the player doesn't like the position assigned to them, which the coach believes is best for the team, let them sulk in reserves! It should never lead to a player agitating for a release but, of course we know it's starting to become common practice.
Cheers, didn’t like Uncle Bennys comments about coming back to WT, as they seemed like an indirect way of letting us know we are out of the race !Think @THE_POM said he would let us know this week with a decision. Many rumours of people who have said this and that. Who knows?! 🤷♂️
Agree to a point, but it’s the coaches job to take that on board and then decide what is best for the team, and the style of play that’s being planned. That mentality might be okay in school but not in the professional game. We all just like to fill in the dots about player coach relationships based on our own clouded bias where ever that may lie - you rate the player coach is an idiot, you don't rate the player he can go kick stones in resi's.

Fans generally look at things that are in the best interest of the club. The modern player looks at what is in the best interest of himself, and clubs that can provide that better than others are always going to win out. In our position until we provide an environment that players can achieve success the whole coach dictating approach is never going to work especially when he has offers to achieve closer to that at other clubs. But

The ability to adapt( both on/off field)is an intrinsic part of playing the game, and also understanding the big picture.
As I mentioned earlier about Bellamy, he is great at getting into the headspace and clearly explaining the players role.
But there has to be a leader, and that is always the head coach. He sets the broad strategy but with scope to play heads up.Fans generally look at things that are in the best interest of the club. Brooks has not demanded to play a certain position unlike others e.g hastingsBrooks has done similar having blokes from the club moved on when he complained to Taylor he was getting overcalled by Robbie
I think that's a part of it but also ego and feelings of entitlement. They want more money. I don't think they'd care if it wasn't about money.
Someone on a rugby forum or something reckons he signed with parramatta, some other bloke reckons 48hrs, and someone followed someone on InstaSpace. So I guess, he’ll sign with the bunnies?Have been offline for 2 weeks, so what is the latest with our back up half Moses ? Haven’t seen any recent articles etc.

Kicking game was horrible and ego through the roof🤮🤮Rubbish , yes he talked a lot on the field , but when I go back and watch the games again , he is slow and didn’t run the ball , he also let the forwards run one out and right next to the ruck where they got smashed , so no he is not a massive loss
Clubs have led the way in not backing coaches and players are impacted as much as anyone because of that. The new coach may not rate a player like the coach they signed with. It's like any work environment if you are not valued somewhere and another place offers you opportunity closer to what you aspire to you are going to take it.But there has to be a leader, and that is always the head coach. Imo Once a player has signed for the club, it is in his, and the clubs, interest to contribute the best of what they have.
That will make them more desirable and increase their earning potential.
Or am I being old school and naive ?
Maybe his ego was inflated by the Man of Steel award, albeit that he earned, it but in a different type of league comp.Kicking game was horrible and ego through the roof🤮🤮
Already done, Broncos released him.Hopefully Tesi Niu goes to the Dolphins, so they lose interest in RTS
