Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Bold prediction.

Not saying that he is a great player, but still find it hard to believe that Gamble only got that one outing at WT in that rout against Canberra.
I said it all along, he was better than what we had and were using when he was here, I was shouted down by almost everyone

Looks like someone over there actually looks at things properly
Haha, man he's got the gronks on there riled up. Was a good post though.

Mm extending with Parra is far more straightforward than him signing with us. If they offered him a good deal and he's happy with it, he signs it and it's done.
With us there's a number of other pieces like trying to negotiate an early release, signing all the new tpas etc. In my opinion the longer it guess the better it is for us.
It's only better for us if you actually want that low life tanking, down hill skiing, flat track bully, big game chocking grub back here.

It would appear that many on here do, me not so much.

"We have signed another handsome Penrith assistant, silver haired and silver toungued, but completely lacking in experience when it comes to head coaching at the top level. Rumours persist that he is chasing Stephen Crichton harder than Reed Mahoney chasing a delivery truck filled with profiteroles" lmao the guy is good

Got a messenger photo and chat from a mate in Parkes from the "wee hours" of this morning, of him at the Elvis festival when talking with back door Benny.

Moses deal all but done bar the announcement, though not given information as to which club it was with.

Edit: I apologise in advance for the discussion now following this post, but hey, it's the off-season, and probably as much chance of Elvis being alive as there is Moses coming back.

Parkes Elvis festival started out as a bit of a joke, and has not turned into a massive 5 day event.
It pours millions into the Parkes economy and also surrounding towns every year.
It’s turned into one of those bucket list things now.

Just heard about 5 year deal for Burton and the Dogs ......wonder where that leaves everything
Burton is a big boy, and a wonderfull footballer, Gus said he will end up in the forwards, and i agree. 5yrs is a long time in this game, and in 2yrs could be in the pigs, Will he adapt, or be anywhere near his current value,? It's a big risk !

I really don't get it either.

I would absolutely loathe seeing him back at the club. People can say things like the club has to change its attitude and be more like others and just get the best players, but there's so much more to it than that.

Yes, the nrl is a business and you need to look at it that way; in this sense, this is a former employee who threw a tantrum when he wasn't happy with the pay rise he was offered and as a result blatantly failed to perform to the best of his abilities.

Having such an important part of the team not doing his job undoubtedly had a huge impact on not only the game results, but imagine how uncomfortable that would've made things for everyone else during the whole melodrama.

If we look at this as a business, this is akin to having a deadline for a project or to put together a proposal, and everyone is doing their job except for one of the most vital people who turns up at 10, goes home at 3 and hasn't even done what he has to so others can do their job.

He doesn't give a crap either, because he's already got another offer from one of your competitors and can't wait to get out of the place.

And this was not just the one project he affected. He just kept doing this until the tigers said "fine. Just go." because he was such a liability.

Seriously, if Cristiano Ronaldo was Dr. Evil, Moses would be sitting on his lap.

If there's one thing Cleary did that I applaud him for it is withdrawing b1tch's offer.

If he didn't already have another offer there is no way in the world he would've underperformed like he did. He'd be hogging the ball trying his pea heart out to make himself look as good as he could to other teams, which would also have been detrimental to the side.

I would honestly love for the club to simply state they "aren't pursuing Moses at this time" and for them to show pride in themselves as a club by effectively saying "no one treats Wests Tigers like that and comes back".

Say "we're really pleased with how Adam has been training at 6 and are really looking forward to seeing him put that in place on the field"...

Take that stand and show the world they won't be a doormat or a club perpetually used to up a player's salary.

Yeah, my roots are from a half an hour or so drive up the Newell at Peak Hill, and without continuing gold mining, the festival is about the only stimulus that the town gets.

Dragons 🐉 for the spoon. A club that hates their coach and massive signings of Liddle, Musgrove and Ben Murdoch
Yea, nah.

If Anthony Griffin remains the coach they will not get the spoon. However they will be at the bottom 6.
Titans and Manly I have pegged for the bottom of the table. For Manly this is a strange place and if Turbo recovers they won't be there, although I don't doubt Siebolds ability in this regard... Look at what he achieved for Brisbane.
Titans, well we see nothing from Holbrook and they are likely to loose David Fifita... 2022 - a misfiring forward.

Been having major internet issues since Wednesday, otherwise I probably would.

Internet drops out about every 30 seconds and modem re-boots and takes 4 or 5 minutes to get an internet connection back and on it goes.

Would like to say a few things about NBN Co.

Taken 3 re-boots to write and send this message.
