1 post above this, typos are being defended as its a footy forum. Now we are pearl clutching over calling Brooks a gnome. Imagine your brain exploding if you ever attended a game or went to a pub to watch a game of football and heard the language. Oh my. Never watching a game before might explain though the defense of Brooks. All making sense.

Hoping it works because you support the club and being critical because Luke Brooks has been a colossal failure for 9 years are not mutually exclusive.

Some of us are just fed up and frustrated of watching the bloke stink up the joint whilst taking huge pay cheques home. He's never ever looked to try and improve or change anything or add anything new to his game. He just mopes about and then the club and his management spin the narrative that everyone else to blame except Brooks.

I love the Tigers and want every player that puts on the jersey to kill it so we win every week, but when blokes play absolutely crap, I have a right to call it out, doesn't mean I'm death riding the club for some agenda against some internet trolls who like to wind people up by saying Brooks is a good player.

Many of us are just sick of his ever-worsening performances and the incredible excuses that always involve blaming other players/the coach/various other ridiculous things, nothing to do with ‘death riding’ anything.

Marcel Marceau was a French actor and mime artist most famous for his stage persona, "Bip the Clown". He referred to mime as the "art of silence", and he performed professionally worldwide for over 60 years without uttering a word!
Hopefully Bip Brooks has consulted a speech therapist over the off season.

If he kills it I'll be stoked, it will mean the Tigers win because if your halfback performs it's pretty much guarantees a win, just like a QB in NFL.

If he does what he has for 9 years and 180 games, I'll be suitably critical and it will likely cost us games like he's done for 9 years

That is just not correct. You need to go back and learn rugby league. There’s a reason the halfback doesn’t take hit ups when you begin a set of six.

That's got nothing to do with anything. The players around can definitely make it difficult, sometimes impossible, for the halfback to perform, but if the platform is set then it's all on him to steer the team, run the plays and get the result. If he doesn't do those things you can't win a footy game
