Juniors - Pathways General Discussion

Great to see so many highly touted juniors stick with us. A few that I couldn’t find in any lists (but may have missed during my reading)

Anyone got goss on either; Tom Freebairn or Luke Knight?

Additionally, anyone know if the Saukuru’s are all related by any chance. We got Apisalome (top30), Livai (KOE), Livai (different one? Flegg), Solomone (SG-Wests), Joey (coach - SG Wests)

There is some one on here that has the low down on the Saukuru’s. I remember a while back someone saying they were all related except for one of the Livai’s and that he was from a different family but the others related. I think that is how it went.

The Livai listed in KOE and Flegg is the same person, he’s training with both teams.
But there is two Livai’s lol, one’s in Laurie Daley Cup.

There’s:
Apisalome (Lomi)
Livai
Solomone (Solo)
Livai

The youngest, Livai, is in Laurie Daley Cup and is Lomi and Solo’s younger brother.

Joey is their Dad, who coaches SG Ball.

The Livai that plays in KOE and Flegg is not their brother.
Not sure of relation, I assume cousin.

Regarding Freebairn and Knight, if they weren’t listed in today’s teams, they’re probably not with us anymore.

Do you know what happened with Tom Freebairn?

Great rundown, cheers!

Not sure on their SG Ball and Laurie Daley Cup results, but Wests Harold Matts and Andrew Johns Cup both won yesterday.

Karnib, Large, etc. played in the Matts game.

All lower grade squads should be announced by the club early in the week coming.

The retention of our quality juniors has been outstanding, with almost all notable talent staying with the club for 2023.

The Wests teams have their last trial games on Saturday against Cronulla and Canberra in Mittagong.

Will most likely be heading out to those games, so will have some more info for you all.

Some photos on this Facebook page from yesterday’s games:
Is Karnib the kid that’s come over from NZ?
