What is the difference between u18 Laurie Daly cup and u18/19 sg ball?

Different competitions.

Laurie Daley Cup and Andrew Johns Cup are country-based comps, with teams like North Coast, Monaro, Northern Rivers etc.

Our teams in those comps are made up of Macarthur district and Group 6 players.

They’re good to have because it gives us a strong junior base in those regions, but you’ll find that our really good juniors usually play two years of Matts/Ball rather than playing one year of Andrew Johns, then one year of Matts, and so on.

This is just because the Matts and Ball comps are stronger.

They all did, barring a couple (Wests SG Ball, Balmain Harold Matts).

Was a very good season, juniors-wise.

Was only able to watch Andrew Johns Cup today who had a 14-14 draw with Monaro.

A bit of talent in the forwards and outside backs but spine players struggled for the most part.

Very physical game.

Boys against men souths had a blood bath down the left side of balmain defence. Souths winger thai something very fast. Feledy contact looked above that grade. Hard to get involved at centre with a bad team. I'd be more inclined to put him with the wests team.

I reckon he'll only play until Jersey Flegg season starts and then move up anyway.
