Well, it makes you wonder why they are chasing other halfbacks if they believe so much in Brooks. That is not the opinion of Sheens (and no doubt Marshall) who have stated their views publicly.

Prince and Marshall were a great combination. There is always room for a very good player and Moses is a very good player.Well, it makes you wonder why they are chasing other halfbacks if they believe so much in Brooks.
To partner him.Well, it makes you wonder why they are chasing other halfbacks if they believe so much in Brooks.
1. He would not have the respect of his opponents. They know he’s the weakest in the team hence they try to target him during our games. Teammates may very depending who he gets along with. No secret not everyone are best mates and that goes to all clubs in general.I can think of three achievements for Brooks in his career -
1. Having the respect of your teammates and opponents.
2. Being a consistent NRL player
3. Potentially a one club player.
Not every player can be a Kangaroo, an SOO player or win a premiership. Many very good players have not achieved all three and one player who comes to mind ironically is Kevin Hastings. Most would agree he was a fine player for the Roosters.
I don't think they're going to go out & publicly say that Luke is a bad player or Luke certainly hasn't lived up to his potential. That is not the opinion of Sheens (and no doubt Marshall) who have stated their views publicly.
But contracts generally reflect the market (at that time).
So, in other words, they don't think he's a halfback. To partner him.
Who was talking about combinations?Prince and Marshall were a great combination. There is always room for a very good player and Moses is a very good player.

I agree. They'd move him on like they did HastingsI don't think they're going to go out & publicly say that Luke is a bad player or Luke certainly hasn't lived up to his potential.
That's your opinion and nothing more.1. He would not have the respect of his opponents. They know he’s the weakest in the team hence they try to target him during our games. Teammates may very depending who he gets along with. No secret not everyone are best mates and that goes to all clubs in general.
2. He’s consistently bad very rarely does he have a good game. I hope he’s practicing his 40/20s and short goal kicking that needs a lot of work.
3. While one club players are rare these days, its not something to really brag about. Only if the club has been successful can you really brag about being one club players.
There have been players who ultimately didn’t win premierships, play origin and represent your country. If you were unable to achieve all 3 you were either really unlucky, or weren’t that good to make it. Safe to say Brooks falls into the second category. He may get lucky to win a premiership but that’s extremely unlikely. Origin and Australia have long passed him so you can forget that. Kevin Hastings was unlucky not to play for his country and win a premiership but he did get picked for Origin so he still managed to achieve something in his career.
So, in other words, they don't think he's a halfback.
Safe to say its accurate though. The fact that you were only willing to comment on that one and not the rest shows that you agree with the rest that I said. That's your opinion and nothing more.
I agree. They'd move him on like they did Hastings
On reduced dollars.
To me Hastings last season proved that Brooks ain't a 7 he's a 6 & the sooner everyone realises that the better. If we can secure Moses he would be a much needed upgrade on Brooks & then Brooks & AD could battle it out for the #6 jersey.I agree. They'd move him on like they did Hastings
The truth is I read that first sentence and did not want to waste my time.Safe to say its accurate though. The fact that you were only willing to comment on that one and not the rest shows that you agree with the rest that I said.
He's gone. Sheens and Marshall did not want him otherwise he would still be at WTs.To me Hastings last season proved that Brooks ain't a 7 he's a 6 & the sooner everyone realises that the better. If we can secure Moses he would be a much needed upgrade on Brooks & then Brooks & AD could battle it out for the #6 jersey.
We aren't the only club to move Hastings on. Did the other clubs get it wrong as well? This is correct. It's pretty clear Sheens etc rated Brooks higher than Hastings. That doesn't mean they got it right.
