1.4 mill for RTS? Get off the turps mate hahaInformal talks with RTS have been ongoing. Tigers offer will essentially be a straight swap for what was offered to Moses.

With all due respect man, leave this forum.
He's a deadset pest. With all due respect man, leave this forum.
I think Sheens got exactly what he wanted and called it as soon as Madge was sacked.Sheens was played by Ciraldo only last year.
Hastings was considered a 13 at WTs, not a half.Think it might be more complicated Earl.
If the knights were willing to pay Brooks full contract would he still be a Tiger. We will never know the truth. Personally I believe we couldn't reach an agreement on how much of Brooks contract the Knights would cover so we released Hastings instead because he was just easier to move on.
Couldn't agree more, though if Moses does come it changes things againI agree with this. The initial comment was related to pairing Brooks with Moses as if there was some underhand deal to get Moses.
I think Brooks was close to leaving simply because the Knights were after him. I think the money he is on this season was too high to do a deal with Newcastle and by that I mean the Tigers weren't prepared to pay Brooks a chunk of salary to play in Newcastle.
I can't see Douhi staying either, just can't see him in our halves in the long term or see him settling to play centreHastings was considered a 13 at WTs, not a half.
Brooks considered leaving but changed his mind with the new coaching team and after discussion with Marshall. Marshall wants Brooks clearly post 2023. That is in the article posted yesterday.
Just my view but I expect Doueihi to follow Hastings out the door. This suggests the club has a plan.
Agreed. He kept his options open with his comments in that article.I can't see Douhi staying either, just can't see him in our halves in the long term or see him settling to play centre
If the Tigers offer is already more than the Eels and they won’t budge as suggested, there is no need to get a bigger offer from us. It doesn’t achieve anything.Face to face meetings not resulting in contracts are pretty standard aren't they? If he wants to milk a bit more money out of the Eels he would need the Tigers option to look credible.
You don’t even get that from Cam MunsterI assumed a personal phone call would do.
I can see a Benji comeback too. Pushing Sheens into a 3 year stint.I think Sheens got exactly what he wanted and called it as soon as Madge was sacked.
I have a growing fear that the B in plan B stands for Benji if our halves need a shake up or fill in at some point, and the Moses bluster will again be used to say "we tried our best". If you look at the depth we've recruited it makes it very easy to slot Benji in above Will Smith and the angry looking little guy from the dirty dogs.
Should clarify.. don’t think it will be goodI can see a Benji comeback too. Pushing Sheens into a 3 year stint.
But they didnt get close. They're barely offering him any more than what he's on now. Our offer would be ~1.5 million more than theirs is the numbers floated on here are ballpark accurate.Moses was always going to stay at Parra as long as Parra could get close to our offer. Also Issac Moses has used the negotiations to get inflated deals for a couple of his other clients. It’s been a big win for the Moses clan.
Now we have to have a crack at a kid, like the one at Parra who is now a bridesmaid for a long time if he stays at Parra
There was a guy on the parra forum who seems to be pretty cluey with their reccruitment. He suggested Moses would walk if the tigers got their offer to 7mill over 5 years.Reading between the lines, there is mail that Moses will re-sign with Parra but also meet with WT on Thursday.
Can't see an in-person meeting happening for a simple rejection and goodbye.
I suspect Moses and co will come to the meeting to say they will sign with Parra unless their latest demand is met. Maybe the potential for a 5th year the Pom alluded to.
Their offer was substantially smaller than both Tigers and Dogs, and doesn't even really give him a payrise from his current deal!Congratulations Paramatta on the re-Signing of Mitchell Moses. Tigers tried but Eels offer too good to refuse.
No, what happened, as I said, is that you decided to believe something you read on a forum and are now annoyed because it isn't happening as advertised. If you want to believe unsubstantiated gossip that's up to you, but there is absolutely nothing about that to hold against the club. Maybe the Tigers were confident of signing Moses, maybe not. I haven't a clue, and in fact neither have you.I said they’d fed the line. They haven’t done press releases.
...All he cares about is Top Dollar. Legitimate or otherwise.
Ruthless.
This is why I think he won't move from Parramatta to the Tigers.
plan probably George Williams at 7 Brooks at 6 2024, problem is the transfer fee that would be needed for WilliamsHastings was considered a 13 at WTs, not a half.
