I asked the bloke working at the roar store during the field day about those training shirts.
He said they had received tons of emails and messages asking about them.
Unfortunately,they were only making them for players 😩

This hating players that have left, is a common theme in this forum. I have never understood it.
Most sides, including ours are mainly imports, and even the great Saints side played dirty tricks to get Raper, Clay and others from Newtown. We only guess why some of our players left, but this is a professional game,and holding grudges should not play a part.

Good post Sleeve. Moses will improve our team and his acquisition may move us to the periphery of the Top 8.

Yeah looks good.

My favourite strip of all time was 2010. The black jersey with the orange and white bars down the side especially. MKB contracting were the sponsor.

The fact we had good years in 2010 and 2011 helps my case.

It'll go one of two ways:

- Brooks commits early, has a break out year and cheats himself out of a bigger contract;
- Brooks commits early, for whatever reason continues to struggle and WT are lumped with him for 3+ seasons after '23.

other way of looking at it Sheens says to Isaac if we dont get mitchell Moses at tigers in 2024 then we can't guarantee a contract on good money for Brooks in 2024 and beyond.

Ref Kitione Kautoga .. yes he has had a few injuries over the last 2 season as a junior, but the Tigers have stuck by him and he appears this season to be pretty much injury free. He says he will stay loyal to the club as we stuck by him when he was injured .. but unfortunately he has realised that there are a few back rowers in front him and some more guys coming through the ranks. Kit is only 20 years young .. so plenty of time to make the top grade .. but he has been offered by another club a chance to play NRL .. (to what i believe he has been brainwashed / lied to by another club .. that he will play in the NRL this season .. as once again there are other players who play in the back row in front of him at this club who have made the offer) But hey if you believe the talk from another club and they offer you a 3 year deal to be basically to be a depth player .. good luck to you man. We have plenty of back rowers coming through: Blore, Bateman, Papali'i, Ofahengaue, Mansfield, Tumeth, Saukuru, Matamua and Fa'atgutu so Kit believes he is behind the pecking order.

I met Kautoga and he came across as a really nice young kid. Maybe he doesn't come from money and it's about additional dollars to support his family.

I don't know this for a fact or anything like that but I think some of these young kids get put under a lot of pressure very early.

If it works out, WTs will have one of the best halves combinations in the NRL. This should please most, but it won't. For the wooden spoon club of 2022 to be in this position is a remarkable achievement.
