It's not meaningless. I don't take much it if it though due to being a trial.

The lower grades are meant to be playing like the NRL side. I didn't see any attack what so ever yesterday

Nothing like immediate success to make ppl happy huh?
In terms of the main nrl competition, it is meaningless. All it is, is a chance for coaches to see how individuals v perform under match conditions so they can adapt the team and training of players. The young blokes get a taste of game time against men and the second game will be more of a showing of what we will see this year I’m thinking… but things aren’t going to change straight away after a preseason of training… give it time.

The thing is the nsw cup squad has probably barely trained together as a lineup so far. While these guys may have trained together as part of a group it would be intertwined with the nrl players. I wonder how often Scolari has trained outside Talau etc
