If true, then It’s odd that he cut his finger off to play rugby league but he could not stay away from drugs to continue playing rugby league.that is 100% correct .. he's brain is a little fried .. i think they call it cooked .. so i believe the NRL should not compensate the Rorters a single cent .. a bad result for Crichton for making a stupid choice .. !!
In Australia, mushrooms and mdma are now used to treat ptsd and depression, legallyIf they're using illegal drugs......

I blame Rex Mossop for starting this TPA scamming. It all began when he started giving away Pelaco shirts, Meapro hams, Patra orange juice and- if the player was from Manly -a Symonds suit. His wardrobe and fridge would have to be full first of course(Rex being the champion scammer of all time). Our players get 2% off with Boomer home loans and Brydens charge through the nose for the legals 😂
Old Rex Messup - the most unbiased commentator to ever grace our TV screens.I blame Rex Mossop for starting this TPA scamming. Interesting. In Australia, mushrooms and mdma are now used to treat ptsd and depression, legally
Making assumptions there, mateInteresting.
Just looked into this more.
Sounds like Angus' wasn't managed by a GP though.
How would publishing. Player salaries stop rotting? This forum often joke about paper bags or Nick's golf game. If that was what was truly happening then that would continue even with their salaries published.Public servants' wages; teachers, nurses, police, etc. are all on a publicly-accessible salary structure. Executives of public companies are required to have published salaries. It is simply transparency.
I can't think of a legitimate argument against publishing all NRL salaries in full and feel it is simply preferring to keep the power of negotiating in the hands of the player managers (like Anasta). By keeping everyone in the dark, they can play clubs against each other and manipulate the player market and this would cripple their influence.
And that's EXACTLY why it should happen.
Players typically have a minimum value set on them. That minimum value would be massive unders on what they would be worth on an open market. So they can still take what fans would perceive as unders.Funny thing is Anasta on 360 was saying guys take unders to go there because of the networking available for future work in the media or business. But I thought 1. Players wernt allowed to be signed for massive unders and 2. Any income generated outside the game as a result of a players contract is all included in the salary cap. So if player A signs for 300k under value because a board member promised them a career in the media after they retire it should all be included and details disclosed in the salary cap. Thats what Pasco got pinged for for Robbie, not disclosing the contract offer once he retired. Having the contract off site.
Take Brisbane for example Andrew gee resigned and all evidence disappearsHow would publishing. Player salaries stop rotting? This forum often joke about paper bags or Nick's golf game. If that was what was truly happening then that would continue even with their salaries published.
Additionally, I think the carry on about the NrL being in Nick's pocket and to scared to act is also not true. There were big shots with links to the NRL when Melbourne were brought down and when Bulldogs were. I just think the NRL is powerless to act without any evidence and they have shown an inability to find any without a whistleblower.
Where this does come into effect, *I think*, is his not knowing he was predisposed to extremely adverse effects of certain drugs most others aren't.
Some people can smoke weed their whole lives and be fine. A small percentage could do it a bit and it can mess them up.
How would publishing. Player salaries stop rotting?
I just think the NRL is powerless to act without any evidence and they have shown an inability to find any without a whistleblower.
But it would not change the narrative of the club saying they are not rotting the players take unders to be there. Or the fan narrative of as if they would take that they are obviously rotting. Published or not the narrative does not change. It makes it transparent. Even just putting up the supposed Roosters salaries makes it obvious they are rorting the system.
Now the NRL should do something about it but I assume they won't.
Dont stop just published it so when a 15 million dollar team beats a 10 million dollar team it's not as embarrassing for them and all the B/S about I am not going or staying for the money I am taking unders love the eastern suburbsWhat about boots and clothing sponsors? they are 3rd party deals....what about drinks deals, watches, cars, Lowes...all 3rd party deals.
How can you stop someone from receiving sponsorship if a company is willing to pay?
It makes it transparent. Even just putting up the supposed Roosters salaries makes it obvious they are rorting the system.

I'm a bit surprised with this. I thought mushrooms were basically one of the safest drugs you could take. Alcohol is one of the worst.
I had a friend years ago who developed schizophrenia. Alcohol was his drug of choice. I don't think any sort of substance was safe though in his condition.

I'm on medical marijuana now. They actually ask if you've ever had a pyschotic episode. I didn't tell them I was a Tigers supporter.
