He‘s not a slam dunk signing that ices games regularly when he has to & he’s too inconsistent generally to be your highest paid player .

other players will emerge , you just have to be smart enough to recruit them ( like nicho Hynes ) or keep & develop them in your system ( like Lachlan Ilias) ) ,

But those opportunities aren’t there if you throw all your eggs in Mr inconsistent’s basket for the next 4-5 years .

Very good point. And we need to remember, Reynolds was an Ilias when Maguire won a GF with him.
Was there a team which played in round 1, that doesn’t have any WT developed players.
The Cowboys fans were quiet with scores locked and 10min to go. But then Toddy threw one of our old captains onto the park.
 
Moses is a flat track bully. Great when he's not under the pump but when he needs to use his mind and grind a win out he's a no show. No where near 1.5 mill.
Only halves I would give that to are Cherry-evans, Cleary and Munster. What Munster did the other night is what we need at our club. Grit, determination and win at all cost attitude. That guy is legendary.

Yep, he is the difference between winning by 20 or winning by 40, those other players are the difference between winning and losing, and that's what counts.

The silence is really annoying, I really want to know that we aren't screwed for the next 5 years - hurry up and sign at parra you tanking tosspot.

I could not have said it better.The last thing i want to see is Sheens destroy our salary cap for years the same way he did the last time he was here

Munster is the only player atm worth that sort of contract. The style of play produced by a 7 or 6 is more relative to how you want the team to play.
It’s clear the club thinks we need a Munster style and because we can’t get him, the next best is a half with the same style, Moses. But he is definitely not in the same class.
Cleary is a Cronk.

Nor has the same mental toughness to role with the pressure that comes with it. The problem Moses has now is that he has pissed off supporters at both clubs and plenty ready to give it to him every time he doesn't aim up where ever he ends up

A big attraction for him to join WT was to link up with his holy cross halves partner.
He has been definite about not coming to replace Brooks. He will not do that.
However, Brooks remains unsigned. A strategy by the club? For what purpose? It only serves to develop mistrust. Or is it that only Sheens knows that he was never coming?
The player market would be less complex and perhaps less expedient without player managers.
 
Here’s an idea when get mosses here and coach him on how to finish games and play off the back foot. It is possible for players to improve there game

Strange that he isn’t backing himself. But he must be aiming to get a cash guarantee he isn’t going to be replaced by any up and comers at Para for at least 5 years. Parra are probably playing him off to a tee and betting on Sanders to be ready in less than 4 years.
There is also the possibility that they want Brown to move to 7 eventually.
 
I’d rather give Teddy that 1.5 mil but that’s just me

Does anyone know if we have any younger halves coming through with potential?
