Sheens coming back to coach was always a risky gamble that looks to not be paying off. He's been out of the coaching arena for too long and he finished up poorly both in Australia and UK. And if anyone thinks the Benji and Robbie coaching experiment will work are dreaming. That will be a bigger failure than what is transpiring at present. I'd love to be proven wrong though. Yeah Brooks is rubbish and I was hoping he left over the Christmas break but there isn't much better to pick from. Not sold on AD yet he's had a few good games with us over the years rest he's been average. Nofo is done and Laurie is not good enough. Both are too small IMO need some size in the backs as well as pace. 2023 the same record seems to be playing on repeat for us.

The coaches box looks like a kindergarten experiment.

Sheens standing behind Benji with headphones.

3 others in the box who have no place being there.

Sheens should be front and center and benji
Next to him writing notes. Period.

It’s “the training wheels” show.

And then sheens complained about the refs!

They lost 3 players - good players. Then had two off at other times.

We suck.
 
I am gutted... this has to be one of the joint ventures worse performances....
The knights were out on their feet and they were still aiming up on us and hurting us in defence.
I can't remember one solid tackle from our team.
There is not 1 person that can hold their up from our team. The amount of crap they put up was not even school boy stuff.
We did not deserve to win today, and the only positive that i can see that the coaching stuff need to pull their heads out of each others backsides and put some fight in this team.
Speaking of fighting spirit... i am disappointed with Klemmer and ICE no venom in attack or defence.

Now watch a quality team and there are players moving forward on both sides of the ball making the D have to make decisions. We offer no threat to the D.
This is also why even Api is looking average in our team.

I’ve watched the team since the early 60’s.
Brooks tenure at half has been the worst in our history… not even been close for second.

The way that they're playing is 100% on the coaching.
We were told that they were going to be an attack focussed team. My god .

Brooks is our halfback,he has been backed by coach after coach,the club want him as a one club player...thats all well and good so lets give him the chance this year to produce...theres only one problem and here we go..AD is an overated player who demands big money in his next deal,wants to dictate where he plays and thats at 5/8...problem is he cant deliver at this level and should go back to his mates at souths..he is who is holding Brooks back this year.he is trying to win every game on his own as if he is the mesiha ...and he aint...soon as Sheens puts him in his place the better this team will go...but alas.no backbone in admin or coaching ...

Sorry mate …Sheens needs a real halfback so AD doesn’t need to feel like he has to do everything.
Brooks ain’t ever going to be a halfback.

Pointing the finger at the reffs about last week with a slight mention of them at this game was disgusting after the performance that the players put in.
What were we last week 70+ tackles in the opp 20?

Brooks tries hard .but the flow is not there when he is our halfback
Douehi just can't defend .
We don't have the proper replacements but it will be same side nxt week no doubt till things start to click
