Why not just bite the bullet, take Brooks off and replace him with Wakeham.

The team went Zing once Wakeham came on and Api and the rest of the players looked happy and confident again.

Happy that the ball wouldn't passed 1 metre behind them or burst their eardrum with a bullet pass to the head.

When you look at our team, it's the two long termers that need a "rest". Brooks and Nofa.

We just need it to happen.

Only problem was Brooksy also went zing when Wakeham came on, he was well involved for all three final tries

That shows there’s something there so I’m all for a Wakeham Brooks pairing
Plus apart from the famous dogs game I don’t think he’s been accused of not giving a stuff

Douehi has to be in the team somewhere but has to be a part of the team, stop blaming others Nofo style, faking injury after an error and chase back when there’s a break

Nofo getting dropped I agree, bad vibes around him as a team player

Papa back do does Bateman go to 13, worth a go to add to our creativity I’d reckon

Wakeham is a goalkicker and Brooks can kick goals as well,both can kick in general play however we have seen plenty of Brooks kicks its time Wakeham was allowed to show his skills in general play...

Doueihi isn’t good
Wakeham brought out the best in Brooks on Sunday and previously Doueihi in our second trial .
We need to pick who is going to partner Wakeham 😂 I’m picking Brooks he can defend somewhat and has decent support play.
Doueihi,apparently is good at organising the defensive line from Fullback ?! His attempt to tackle Burton flat footed was terrible,but I’ll cut him some slack considering he hasn’t played fullback in a few years.
I personally would drop Doueihi this week ,his best position is Centre but Kepoa is in decent form and deserves a starting spot (unless he’s playing second row)
Staines deserves the number 1 jersey.

Melbourne without a few key pieces,definitely in with a chance.Although I thought the same thing the first 3 weeks 🫠

Because somebody finally played direct.

Both their decision making is bad.

Doueihi's is worse and is costing points and games. Brooks, as of yet, has not.

Brooks then, by default, is the less-worse five-eighth option for now.

You know the team is rock bottom when Brooks is the best option.
 
Doueihi should be shaking hands with the NSW Cup team this week. Instead the silly old fool will put him at fullback and give him another opportunity to cost us a game. There was nothing wrong with Staines at the back. Two tries came directly off the back of a Doueihi non-effort and a shit pass, and the third off the back of Nofoaluma not being able to compete in the air.

Brooks worst is not having fifth tackle options and a poor kicking game. Doueihi actively costs us games by gifting points through silly options with the ball and non-efforts in defence. Wakeham will be the 7 anyway.

He doesn't deserve to be rewarded with another FG appearance this week, go back to reggies and work on his game, particularly using his shoulder in defence.
 
I love how they say all preseason they were swapping between Laurie and Staines at fullback, now all of a sudden Doueihi's suited for the role since hes so terribly out of form in the halves.. fullback is not the position for someone out of form

To be fair, that's an important "worst" to have in that position.

AD is shit, and needs to earn his spot again. I just would hate that AD's shitness takes the focus of Brook's shitness. Plenty of shit to share around at WT.
