How the hell can you leave both Brooks and Doueihi in there?! I'd get rid of both of them.

1. Staines
2. Toa
3. Naden
4. Kepaoa
5. Tupou
6. Laurie
7. Wakeham

Obviously, trying a new halves combination is fraught with risk but, surely, we can't do any worse. I think Twal should start with Stef providing impact off the bench.

Twal out J Simpkins in and that would be close to best option unless a big change is made to the team with multiple player moves

Agreed, we can’t keep picking the same expecting them to play differently. The team over the years has been moulded for brooks. Doueihi and Brooks in particular even if they are playing well with ball in hand make far too many errors and poor tactical decisions.

Why not try Api at 7. Leave Wakeham out. AD at fullback. Start another hooker. The take the other hooker off after 25-30mins. Put Api at 9, AD at 6. Bring Lauri on

If Bateman is able to play i would have him at lock
Yeah I was thinking that during the last game, but I reckon he might have to wait a few more weeks as that position is probably more reliant on knowing the calls and plays. But yeah I reckon lock might be his go too.

Did you see Laurie in NSW Cup? Wasn’t even trying.

Looks a very unhappy club.

Blore has been very underwhelming. I would replace him with Joffa.

Brooks needs reserve grade.

1. Laurie
6. Douehi
7. Wakeham
14. Simpkin
Did you see Hoffa in reserve grade yesterday? Playing like he didn’t want to be here at all.

I don't know how we can pick Brooks or Doueihi in the halves. I don't know how we can pick Doueihi at centre because the other options are better.

I have no idea who is injured
I’d rather we give James an opportunity and leave Ofahengaue at the Magpies longer?

I'm just hoping they pull the trigger on Matamua at 13 this week. He’s green but for me the only hope of igniting something with the attack and forcing others to play straighter and faster.
Fonua’s best part of his game is just bending the line with a late offload.

Matamua 13, Pole bench, Seyfarth out
