Send Sheens back over to England to secure players
leave the team to Benji and Robbie as I don’t think we will get near the top 8 this year but will give him time to put a line through a few duds and test some players in different positions like AD ( Centre or Fullback etc ) Benji should be on the phone to RTS , put it to him to come join the challenge of lifting a team from last to top 8 , come this year and 2 more years , this would sort out fullback , then leave Sheens to grab a centre and a Half .

if we secure Williams I would ask him who he wants beside him , Brooks or Wakeman ( Williams and Brooks could be a very good combo as opposition would be watching Williams leaving Brooks to run , Maybe

I can’t see him coming to the Tigers to do all the heavy lifting on that kind of deal, unless it’s big coin for just 1.5 years. But if ya gunna do that you wanna have a gun young half for him to teach and be nrl ready in 2024 so you don’t waste your money. Do we have a gun 7 that we could invest in like that?

We do have some good young guys in our team starting to show their worth but until you have a very competitive team you are exposed to loosing these young guys to other teams , they don’t want to spend all there years in a loosing environment, They needs to be able to enjoy it as well as play it , at present yes they probably are enjoying it being given a chance to shine BUT it won’t take much for a Storm or Roosters etc to come knocking and say a bit less coin but we play finals , stay there and we’ll you play wooden spoon , we only need 3 more solid players in position

Maybe, but dogs would have to move Burton or Oloapu out of their long term halves plan to accommodate.

Our forwards are going well and we have the money to make big plays plus no halves on long term contracts.

We just need a quality halfback so I believe we can be quite an attractive move for someone like Dodd if he is going to make his move within the next 12 months.
 
You know, the more I think about the Brooks/Doueihi situation, the less inclined I am to think either or both will be dropped.
TS made a very definitive statement about “ wanting to coach Brooks” before punting Madden and Hastings, so being a pig headed old b he is hardly likely to admit defeat in R4.
Same with AD getting a contract extension.
Whilst I am in total agreement with all comments about both players mediocrity, I am expecting both to be picked again on Tuesday.
And to me, that is the sad irony of where the WT are, and will be until reality bites.

Sheens should be no where near recruitment let alone coaching. He was done as a coach 5 years ago.
