TEAM LIST Round 5 vs. Broncos

Team List
What kind of logic is having toa on the bench, who else in the comp does that sort of selection, simpkin fair enough but Toa on the bench??? I guarantee you he comes on after 75 mins when the games lost, just have a look at Lauries sublime 5 mins last game
Would be disappointing if he does come on after 75 mins but T'oa does add strike & the ability to break tackles (closest we have to a Kotoni Staggs type).

All of our middles can play big minutes too.

Another scenario is that Bateman actually plays lock (I doubt it if he has bruised ribs with that extra workload), AJ moves to backrow, Toa into centres, Pole back to bench.

Pole is the rotational prop with Twal, Klemmer and Stef.

Matamua covers lock and second row, giving flexibility to Bateman.

Simpkin has been good whenever on the field.

To'a covers for the backs, but also allows Kepoua to shift into the backrow as well.

It's easy to throw your toys out but it's not like the bench doesn't offer flexibility. Klemmer already plays big minutes, as does Twal. I think Matamua offers some additional skill on the field while Pole could be argued to be our most effective middle forward so far.

Seyfarth/Joffa etc offers less than all the bench players and locks AJ into playing centres only.

Brooks at 7. I know he won't be the halfback but he shouldn't be in the team. Tim Sheens can go to hell. How many more games need to be pissed away carrying the useless tool. To hell with this garbage.
Who replaces him?

Over thinking it

Well that’s a very predictable team list, can’t see a change of result unless a few things really click.
