No, but I just assume nothing is going to change. Even if Pascoe gets the boot (which he should), they're not just going to fire Sheens and Benji. A couple of people will lose their jobs but mediocrity will continue. All we can do is just whinge and whine because come next weekend, most of us will still be watching our team get smashed

But it'll be a start. Nothing will change, no new ideas no circuit breakers until the people that make the decisions are gone. Step one has to be Pascoe. After it becomes harder with the sponsors / chair/ board but first, just get Pascoe out of there. He's literally the the definition of unattainable position now. All he will do by staying is bring more unwanted press / fan backlash.
 
What I think we are missing hear are K P I that Sheens should have had in his contract same as Benji and Robbie
KPI number one / win more games that you loose
if not your all fired , this way the bullshit stops and the guys would be taking it a bit more serious , Sheens keeps saying it’s only Round 3 , round 4 round 5 , geezus I would be spewing he comes out and goes yes I know 0 from 8 is bad but it’s still early days , These guys probably don’t have KPI built 8nto there contracts , the dumb arse board probably said yep $ X amount per year and for 5 years , sheens you do 2 years Benj you do 5 , fingers crossed we win , pack off losers and the CEO would have signed off on it

The way things are going 0 from 8 is far more likely than unlikely and 0 from 24 is unfortunately quite acheivable.I honestly don't think i have seen a team that looks as uncoached as we seem to be,the frustration in some of our players is obvious (the blokes with pride and the will to win) a few others seem to be completely lethargic and only try for a minute or two at a time.This is something i have never thought i would see in my team.
 
What matters more is who you replace Pascoe with. At least we are financially viable right now with Pascoe, after firing him, we might move from 17th to 14th but hopefully the Club's $$$ amount don't go away- maybe we could transfer him to a CFO position. Really need to replace the Board who voted on hiring this Coaching team though.

The good days are ahead... very very far ahead.

Honestly, what has he actually done, what amazing commercial strategy did he put in place? I'm genuinely curious.

Membership team is and was poor compared to other clubs. The new swipe card thing is shit. seat allocations always messed up. Jersey designs have been sub par for years. Several of the sponsors he " bough in" were dodgy. Fan day experiences are poor ( off the field). The fact a club that should be huge only have ~20k fans shows how shit he is. If we were the roosters with this type of on/off field performance we would have 38 members. The only way I can see he has made some $$$$$ for the club was selling its soul to whatever stadium would pay the most. completely screwing the club over.

Maybe COE funding. That's his legacy but I am sure there is more to that then just Pascoe. I cant see him being to heavily involved purely because it worked out and everything else hes done has gone to shit.


If I'm wrong, if there is some commercial / sponsor dealing wizardry he's done I would love to know about it. I would especially like to know about anything that WT have implemented under Pascoe and is being now taken up by another club cause it was so clever.

If we replace him with someone like Shane Richardson we will be fine. There are a few good candidates.
 
Resemblance is striking. I can't unsee it now.

I wouldn't be worried about finances. When you consider :
The NRL Pay the players salaries ( $12 mill of the annual grant?
Wests Ashfield fund the wests magpies
Wests Ashfield fund Balmain juniors.
Wests Campbo fund Macarthur juniors.

All they need to fund is the operation of the club and we get $5mill from the NRL and last year $1 mill from Wests Ashfield so you only need to competent to not go broke.
