Had the strangest dream last night hahaha me and benji were trying to come up with half we could sign. I’d think of 1 then he would run and find out if they’re willing to come to tigers. In the end we ended up with a parra half

Also took him a year or so to come on at the Sharks....

Flannagan threatened to pull out of the deal unless Fifita was part of it. And we gave him to them - both had 3 year extensions at the time.
Up there with the dumbest of Sheens decisions - Fifita's talent was blatantly obvious - and the beginning of our downward spiral.

I there was something to it, But knew it was Fifita on the Back of Gibbs...

He does have a type, Always has....
Probably why we extended Tumeth and not Kautoga....

It really was the start of our downfall, Paying Heighno, Gibbs, Fifita, Ayshford to play elsewhere...
Overpaying Blair
Rolled into overpaying Moses, Brooks, Simona, Sironen and a heap of other unproven kids just to keep them.
Rolled into Ivan killing our cap...
And here we are....

It's all Pascoes fault though...

But would Fifita be much use to you right now - on his money? I mean he's one of the freakiest athletes I've seen and at his best he's almost impossible to stop. But ... he's never struck me as someone you can rely on when all of the chips are pushed into the middle of the table. High impact but low motor. To get the best out of Fifita I think you really need a winning environment where players are constantly held accountable. Put him in this current WT outfit and he's more likely to coast. I like Holbrook and think he's a pretty good developer of talent. But even he must be frustrated with a guy who is as inconsistent as he is destructive.

You are thinking of the wrong Fifita,the one in discussion was thrown out of the club by Sheens back before Sheens was sacked.Sheens hwas a disaster before he was sacked and is now continuing his destruction

Pascoe has had his stuff ups - well documented - but banking on Sheens to steady the ship maybe his undoing.

I'm not convinced - I was sorry to Sheens go last time, His power tripping was off the charts.
I see he still has the same lines now that he had then... There's reasons that aren't excuses, In 2005 we did this, We're only 2 Wins behind someone (Or 2 wins out of the 8)
He's actually done nothing in the last 25 years bar win a comp with us, and make the finals 3 times...

BUT - Everybody has been screaming for some Footy Intellect in a senior role - Not many blokes that have more than him.
We have a pot load of kids that need bringing into grade - And he has history of doing that very well, Here and at other clubs....
Like they say, We can't do worse.... I also don't know if we can do better....

Yes I'd do that. I rate both very highly. I actually think Josh Curran has a higher ceiling than Ice. If not Volkman, an injury-free Luke Metcalf as 5/8 will provide x-factor & goalkicking.

Im dirty at him (Sheens) because I think he his playing favourites in a limited squad where we can't afford players not to be giving their best.
Joe O best and fairest last season dropped, Laurie players player dropped. Have either of them played consistently any worse than Douehi and Brooks in their positions- debatable at the very least even with their weaknesses.
If he doesnt want Brooks targeted for poor performances - you can't make an example of some by dropping them, excuse others, and expect the team to respond.
We are only 5 rounds in with a strengthened squad and they look broken - that lies soley on the back of decisions made by Sheens imo.
Unless things shift quickly the joke about the bye might be another gaffe to add to the collection of poor decisions.

I think what he's saying is maybe that making the same point over and over when pretty much every one already agrees with you isn't moving ahead together. Sure vent away , but getting offended at other ppl that want basically the same thing isn't helping anyone.

It's not about emotions like taking offense.
It's not about venting.
I think you missed the point too.
It's about accountability.
You talk about moving ahead.
How do you move ahead when issues like this aren't resolved?
If you ignore it, it will happen again.
I think energy needs to be directed at effecting BIG change in the organisation, starting at the top.
This forum is where fans together can discuss & organise.
This is our voice.
