Hastings did a number of things last year that got Sheens and the administration offside. If he's bad for culture then he's bad for culture. there's a reason he's been to as many clubs as he has been, irrespective of his abilities. would love him here at the moment for his on-field attributes but off field he's a derrick.

I am not advocating that I think he was the long term solution. Just that we torched 2023 the second Luke Brooks was given the keys and Hastings was punted

Taaffe gets mentioned a lot in this thread but I just don't see it at all with him. Sure he's young and could improve, but looked very ordinary in the 1 for Souths whenever filling in for Latrell.

Nobody decent will come anywhere near us until something is done to sort out the mess. Any of our big signings not tied down beyond 2024 will be planning their escape right now. Of these, I believe Api has a player option for 2025. There will be a conga line of clubs waiting to speak to his agent next year.

Does anyone have an idea of the estimated costs it'd take to sign George Williams? Read he still has 18 months left, so would we be paying out that fee on top of our contracted amount?

A lot L, but probably not as much as we offered Moses, and potentially Williams could be a better buy.

Seems that Sheens will scrub a player if he doesn't like them personally. Did so with Hastings because he flew himself to the GC last year and is doing so with Laurie
