Parramatta centre Waqa Blake has reportedly offered his services to Rugby Australia. The Eels are looking for X-factor players with Clint Gutherson reportedly being moved to the centres because its centres aren’t strong.
This makes sense and will most likely open the door for Daine Laurie to play fullback.

If this was true, and we don't know that because Clarkey is a moron, but if it were true, what a joke that (a) Warriors could reach out to a bloke that literally just started his contract, and (b) that it matters if IP has "interest" in leaving the Tigers.

They should have instead reached out to his manager to confirm that he has a 3-year deal with Wests Tigers.

However I'd happily trade IP for Fonua Blake or Tohu Harris.

I dont know about yourself, but that's what I see.

That's the difference of playing in a side that is generally competitive. IP is a support player, by that I mean he always appears around the football and scraps for every advantage - defence, bombs, runs.

He isn't a dynamic ball runner or tackle buster, so his abilities become more pronounced in a side that is playing well and sharing the core responsibilities of attack and defence.

Don't think so. There was an article about 5 or 6 years ago outlining ticketed members voting rights at all NRL clubs. Souths was the only club that allowed ticketed members voting rights. I don't think there has been any change to that.

Souths members I believe control 25% of the club, so really it's token more than anything else.

Football club members vote on the Board at Parra and Bulldogs (as opposed to ticketed members). I think there are only a handful of clubs were any kind of membership gives you a vote.

Unfortunately also Parra and Bulldogs have historically had the most dysfunctional / in-fighting Boards because of this voting ability, and both clubs have recently had several seasons of diabolical results, so it would be evident that sometimes the politics of member voting is not helpful to a club.

Wighton 4 year $4.4million on the table at Raiders , much better than what we have. Pairing him with a very good young halfback would be a significant upgrade.

We already have three 5/8s, maybe we should focus on a halfback first.

Brandon is dropped, But our old mate brooks still stands tall in this team, Seems neither heaven or hell are going to move him.
