Matamua hard done by not keeping a spot in the 17. I just hope they let him play big minutes in reserve grade and not hold him as 18th man where he sits on the sideline all game. He needs game time to build up his experience.

With coaches - I will feel like I feel now.

If sheens had taken over last year he would’ve seen Jackson was the half back to keep

He was too arrogant telling hastings to play lock

Even worse case he could’ve just told Jacko “I’ll start you at lock and let you duke it out with brooks for half”

The problem is they can’t drop brooks now bc it will be a complete admission of guilt…

If we lose 10 straight it will be hard to keep brooks in the team

Just my thoughts

Management will just hide behind the football department …

But they’ll be huge pressure on Justin if we’re 0-10.

As I said, it has to be a disaster for us for there to be “a hope” of change … not guaranteed change … a hope!

That’s the best we can aim for.

if we win this weekend it’ll take the pressure off for another 3/4 losses because everyone will think we can win.

And for anyone saying it’s a disaster already it’s not .. it’s bad… but not a disaster

0-10 = disaster.

The more we lose the better.

Sheens is making it up as he goes along. Giving him autonomy is going to be one of the worst decisions we’ve ever made in a long list.

If he truly believes Brooks and Doueihi are the best halves at the club, the last 2 rounds he’s sabotaged the club by shuffling and then reshuffling.

He did say last week AD is the best fullback at the club also.

Brooks has been cooked for years, but AD and Laurie are a shadow of the players they were prior to Maguire getting sacked.

Do you think that a really good coach can improve a player or there is no possibility of that.
Basically what you’re saying is we need to recruit the best players because we are incapable of taking existing players to another level .

of course we'd be in a better position -- but the club can't attract them. So whats the point?

Sheens let Hastings go.

Pure and simple.

Completely botched us this year because of that one decision.

If we'd kept him we'd be 2 possible 3 wins done this year and looking good.

Now we're going to suffer big time -- organising halves are hard to attract. as we're discovering -- when we shouldve know this all along.

He doesn’t need to be the messiah. Just needs to do his job.
He played with a busted team last year, it’s not a great argument.
Chuck him in our full strength this year and we certainly don’t remain 0-5. This is evidenced by his success at Newie with their best player missing.

1-4 would be the minimum. Only lost twice at Newcastle with a similar roster.
You are preaching to the choir about the coaching. I’ve been very vocal last year about it. I’m really not too surprised.

He was injured for lots of games … played lock for others … when he was half back we had other injuries too plus our team was way worse last year … plus when noddy took over the whole team collapsed !!! That was half the year

Trust me … he’s a bigger loss than people think.

With him in this current team we’d be pushing hard for top eight

Him and api combining with that forward pack … I can only dream.

Unfortunately

Would you consider not making the finals for 10 years in a row, when half the teams in the competition make the finals, and you are the clubs marquee player for most of those years a disaster?

The Tigers wouldn’t, that’s why it is only a matter of time until they throw Brooksy another bone… Go the Tigers 👍
