Club claims to have ticked all the boxes before launching this jersey and if so, someone outside the club may have stuffed up with the design, but ultimately these sorts of things are the responsibility of club management to get right. Well these parasites will ensure that the Club is not lying about their due diligence. I think they are.
I also don’t believe it’s a ‘storm in a teacup’. Depends on your world view but I find it totally disrespectful and just plain lazy.

Maybe the Tele can produce some actual evidence to prove the club is telling porkies (and thus prove your opinion correct). Let's wait and see!

I'm still unclear what the issue is? Do you have to put Simpson and his Donkey or the Rats of Tobruk on the jersey every year?

What does it matter if they used a stock photo?

Some of you are inventing things to get upset about now, faux outrage, all very Fox News.

Twice you’ve said you don’t care.
We get it. You have poor understanding of the subject.

Why are these things always happening at the Wests Tigers.
Surely Lest We Forget across the back and front, images of Aussie soldiers and Australia / New Zealand flags was all that was required. Simple, but then again we don’t do the simple things well ….. do we.

The media bashing is so intense right now its insane. I get we suck but if our players are to have any confidence to lift up and help to add to the game rather than bring it down and our juniors have any interest in staying to do the same, is it too much to ask that footy journos just put aside a clickbait article a few times and actually just do football analysis.

Yes it is BT, just reporting the footy is not enough.
It’s now necessary to thoroughly analyse and discuss every small issue and of course WT stories must rate off the charts.
I have mates who follow other teams and they are sick to death of our stories.

As an organisation, Wests Tigers half arse everything they do.
Whether it be on the training paddock, the rehab programmes, our pathways, our social media interactions or special events such as the Tommy memorial game…we just put minimal effort in.

My suspicion is that the top decision makers in this club do not give a god damn about winning games of football. The football side of the club is merely a carrot to drag money into the real side of the club that they care about.

Careful what you wish for.
Football analysis will be even more ruthless, the way we are currently playing.

A level of blame, it’s a question you should be raising when approving this jersey.
But to be fair, it shouldn’t even need to be asked as you would assume they would use a god damn Australian image.

Such a WT thing to do 🤡
The NRL approved it so i guess that is Pascoes fault as well.

Could this be our ‘pride’ moment?
Yeah, was thinking the same thing.

Following the complete shit fight over this whole jersey thing will a number of our players refuse to wear the jersey and as a result derail our whole season.

Oh, just realized they've already managed to do that because this mob don't seem to have too much pride.

I think the choice of image is poor but what's worse is lack of citation. Even if I'm presenting something to two or three people, I'm citing where every image or graph came from, but it had to go through this whole media storm for them to say it was a stock image.

Is the the end of the world? No. But it's consistent with Pascoe administration of unprofessionalism.
