Commemorative jersey

Well that's entirely different if it's true. I'm a skeptic about Fox, we'll have to see if it's corroborated, because Paul Kent and basically everyone on that show are also liars.

I don't care if they use some generic photo on the jersey, that's not a crime. To lie about the Holsworthy Barracks or ADF involvement, if true, is far far worse. Mistakes and lies are on two entirely different levels.
Maybe YOU check your facts before making disclaimers for media organisations who have had their content legally vetted!!

Self-important much????

Anyone know a good solicitor? Guessing WT either need to terminate an employee or sue a media outlet. I suspect they will pursue this more aggressively than Klowngate if the future of the boys' club is on the line. So much vitriol!
Not unless it is a dodgy compo case!!

I’ve said it before, disrepute requires a good reputation to begin with.
2012 was the decline under the L-plater CEO Grant Mayer who used his Twitter followers to determine his position when he sacked Sheens - valuing Tedesco etc...

This mutt Mayer went on to other sports admin positions - but that he still follows alleged human trafficker and proven misogynist areshole Andrew Tate on Twitter is evidence of his poor judgement as a human being!

Pascoe makes him look borderline competent!!

Does NRL sign off on the jersey before it’s released?
I think they would entrust the majority of the finer detail to the individual club. I can’t see them validating every element that goes into something like that. So as long as it isn’t absolutely ridiculous, and ticks some specific criteria it would just be approved.

That stock image is also an issue imo though. I’m not personally offended by the use of it, but it’s a poor reflection on the club - it’s unprofessional and demonstrates a level of incompetence, laziness and the lack of awareness that regularly prevents this club from reading the room.

When you’re designing something commemorative and representative of something, you need to be more thoughtful about everything that goes into it - let alone slapping on a Hollywood style, generic war photo for the main image! Knowing this club though, they were probably too focussed on trying to make it look like an advertisement for the latest Call of Duty.

Even without hindsight they honestly might as well have not even done this. Is it an ANZAC jersey? Is it not? What exactly is it for?

Sorry for the rant, but man these guys are embarrassing sometimes..

Hope they get the pride jersey right. This is catastrophic. Unparalled. How did it get to this. On a positive note - it at least takes the focus away from the football. They can blame the Parramatta loss on the jersey. I mean - there is a silver lining to all this. Brought Manly to their knees.

Honestly think we just need to be a meat and potatoes football club until we’re able to win. All possible resources into the men’s program, no flashy jerseys, no excess media, admin doing admin out of public eye, recruitment working overtime , players doing extras, stop pushing the enriching the community BS. Focus on one thing, winning on Sundays.
