Brooks, poor bugger, is broken. Club should have allowed him to leave for his mental health. Hastings, who seems to be able to organise the team to follow a plan, should have been kept.
It's likely the team would be 2/4 had he been retained.

All we expect after 11 years is for our halfback to steer the cattle around the park and have half decent last tackle options - like a repeat set.

Sheens is senile, and stubborn, wont ever admit he got it wrong
We should of kept Hastings,but the forum favourite which is Brooks must have a crusher hold on Sheens balls....no idea what Sheens sees in him after so many coaches and years at this level he has done nothing but win a Dally M award in a very ordinary year of halbacks...

This may come as a shock to some of us..but we’ve never played finals with any player in this team.
Anybody who would spend 3 years trying to turn Johnnie Cronk into a halfback when he was obviously not even close to being one (decent hooker though) is pig headed in the extreme,15 years later and nothing has changed.Amazing to think that supposedly we took Slothfield's advice to appoint Sheens again.How could anybody possibly have any faith in our management
