Despite some errors - I think Jordan Hill has looked good.

Appears to be trying too hard but has some toe to him.

Very raw but looks promising.

Sadly Sheens suggested he has done the same ACL again

Not good. First Ngutlik with his ACL in the trials, now Hill going down. Add to that Scolari and Bula also struggling with injuries. Not much luck for our young outside backs looking to push through the grades.

For me he can really become a more physically imposing version of Garner.

Has a great offload, good feet and aggression.

Mansfield looked good in what was a really poor standard KOE cup game. No one there saying ‘ pick me’ unfortunately . The ball handling by both teams was atrocious. Game played at a snails pace
Laurie ordinary, Wakeham slightly better but you’d only pick them if you were desperate on that performance

Yeah....somehow got a 2.5 year NRL deal with us.

A Manly mate of mine actually texted me the day he signed with us and said "you got a dud...by far the worst player at the club and only even kept due to his brothers being here".

Yet we gave him 2.5 years NRL deal...

1.5 years later he is a state cup benchie.

Some of our recruitment has been absolutely woeful.

He was the number one young prop in the state only a few years ago, projected to play origin in a few years time after domination u20 origin. Obviously not so juniors kick on but he was highly rated out of the 4 brothers at manly

I don’t think he’s been too bad.
Takes some putting down when he runs the ball, but far too often he’s receiving the ball flat footed.
He’s not a player who will play big minutes or have a big work rate, but is an impact player who can scatter some defenders if used right.

Along with Junior Tupou, he is an outside back I'm very excited about & want to follow his development.

But it would be great if the Club updated us along with the likes of Oliver Lawry too.

Does the club comms staff realise that members & fans are just as interested in our development & pathways players as top 30!!!

I really don’t think they do…. I sent an email to Pascoe about not live streaming moe games and got nothing in return. I know its probably not his area of concern, but Gez it’s frustrating.

If they need a case study on how it's done well, tell them to look at the weekly content of any AFL club. I'm also a Hawthorn member and they do weekly injury updates (top squad & rookie squad) & they provide a weekly story on how their AFL listed players perform in the reserves (basically a 2-sentence quote from the coach & it's not always on the positive aspects of a player's game, can be critical too).

Wouldn't that be nice!

Yep, the coach we had last year (cant think of his name) thats now gone on to bigger and better things with the Warriors, had Our Team playing well.
But of course, that wasn't good enough for Our Powers That Be, so he was terminated 😡
