I mean the club would have to work out a way to pay two players and Pascoe’s big claim is he’s got the club financially sound. I’d argue that’s often at the expense of on field success. e.g. home games in QLD and NZ.

I'd imagine all the away games would be a major reason how the club can run at a profit, will be interesting to see how things go if we return to our 2 home grounds in the future as was discussed at some stage in the pre season.

I can only imagine your uproar if Manly got to pay Turbo half his Wage a year cause he only plays half the games with dodgy Hammys... Or Roosters got NRL cap relief with Cordners head knocks.

Injurys are part of the game, That's why there's squads of 30 and not 17
(And a cap to pay the squad accordingly)

Also thought it was crap when we couldn't get cap relief for Liam Fulton after he retired with concussion (#SackPascoe) but also understood he'd played for us that year and injurys (Of all types) are part of the day to day - Still sucked....

I don’t buy this theory that it ruins your career. The NRL is full with ex Tigers doing well.

Problem is more often than not they play like shit when they come here.

What ever you may think of Brad Arthur, he is still a father and would be protective of his son.

The question is, would he allow his son to come to the Wests Tigers and commit career suicide?

He probably reckons he's better off playing for Wenty for the next 4 or 5 years.

Nah if youre playing nrl you are getting paid NRL wages, exposure and opportunity. He’s not that good to be picking which club he plays at. If Tigers or nothing he’d choose tigers. Even on a short contract because if he was progressing, another club would get him.

From tigers point of view, Arthur should be depth singing only. Personally I don’t think he’d be worth a roster spot.

If it's done properly, Pascoe wouldn't have anything to do with it, just be A.Ds decision after Sheens has a quiet word telling him to walk away for 18 months when you come back ill offer you another year or two to help u get back on your feet for helping the club

Trindall is worth 750 to us. He can't say no to that and the sharks will surely not stand in his way. I'd give them Nofo and pay part of his salary too. 500 for pezet. 300 and the opportunity to start at 7 next game for a Volkmann, Hawkins or Sexton.

Yes all this is overs - blame management, successive coaches and a squad that was dominated by soft pillows for a decade. Failure has a price.

Agree he’s the best option but they won’t let him go. I think they’ll let Paps go and move Munster to fullback before they let Pezet go.

Pezet won’t be leaving the Storm. He is viewed long term at the club and knows it. Storm won’t release him this year either heading into SOO period.

Iv been hyper critical of him this year, I never want to see any of the guys get injured though, it would be a crappy way for his career to end, I hope for his sake it's only a minor tear. It's no way for a players career to end. Reminds me of Fulton, that guy never got the retirement he deserved.
