Going to market for a controlling half...

The stage is set for this fictional controlling half to come in after the buy and pretty much take us from 0 and 6 to the finals and be a footy legend forever...

Trindall could work for sure100%
, or Simpkins goes to 9 and Api into the half's use the best hooker in the half's could work, on Anzac Day in the USA military Jersey.👍
Definitely a big fan of trying Api in.the halves and Simpkin as hooker with Wakeham at 14!

Zerotackle has the 10 realistic options the Tigers have to replace Brooks in 2024. Coming in at number:
10: Blake Taafe - South Sydney
09: Shaun Johnson - Warriors
08: Tuimoala Lolohea - Huddersfield Giants (is this a G up ..??)
07: Kyle Flanagan - Bulldogs
06: Arthur Mourgue - Catalans Dragons
05: Jack Cogger - Penrith
04: Oliver Lawry - WestsTigers SG Ball (over 6 feet tall exceptional ball skills)
03: Aidan Sezer - Leeds Rhinos
02: Daniel Atkinson - Cronulla
01: Daine Laurie - WestsTigers
Chase Morgue. That’s where our premiership chances currently reside

in the article zero tackle said all to partner Adam Doueihi at 6....
poor old AD will struggle to get back on the field on 2024 let alone play 6
good solid research by zero tackle there...
The man listed on there in Aiden Sezer was my pick before he went to super league . The way things are shaping up we will need 2 new halves. Sezer and young Taffe are my picks.

Widdop would he delightful
Widdop is well past his use by date imo,i would rather take chances on a couple of young blokes who can't get into FG here and persist with them.AD will probably not play much next year if at all and Brooks needs to go somewhere else.I have zero faith in Sheens getting it right and i can only expect more idiotic decisions from him

7 Sezar

I think he's matured a lot as a player & a person.
Type of player we need at 7 to control the team and deliver smart kicks on the 5th tackle.

He's a Sydney lad originally, I believe.
Bulldogs junior.

Hmmmm. He's not exactly setting the world on fire but is consistent. Will be 32 this year. Could get him for two years I guess? Last Sheens year and first Benji year. I know I said the other day Lam isn't up for it....but IMO they offer very similar overall. Lam is only 25 so I'd be tempted to give him two years as if he goes well he could be re-signed...

Dont write off Wakeham too often we look outside when the answer is inside

I think Brooks would have to remain the 7 " playing close to the ball" similar to last week.

Wakham was too quite for me to be " the controlling 7" we need however he could jump into AD position playing 6 and do a lot of the kicking.

Ideally, we need a 7 with some intelligence that can actually pull off a grubber and score a try but finding that calibre of player in two weeks is unlikely.

I'd be happy to look at Laurie somewhere in the front line maybe at wing. Don't think has the kicking game for six?

Also api at 7 might be an option

Has the footy smarts but not sure how realistic it is getting him for this year.
