i used to listen however they have extremely limited knowledge on players, basically unless youre in the top 17 they have no idea who they are. when junior pauga made his debut none of them knew who he was, they said he was a gun from our flegg side, not a 25 year old nuffie whod been in qld cup for the past 4 years

Not necessarily. Some of these SL guys have an NRL get out clause in their contracts.

I actually did get it first time around. I guess the only difference is that Fulton had achieved just about all the honours the game can give, whilst Doueihi is a moderate first grader who hasn’t really achieved very much.

You're most likely correct but it is England and in the EPL its common to extend and upgrade contract to protect an investment. It would be beyond thoughts that his club is doing exactly that protecting their investment and maximizing a transfer fee should he move on.
If you want him pay up and pay up big, but the most likely outcome is what you mentioned but its not beyond the realms of possibility.

What’s people thoughts of moving API to 7 and starting Simpkin!!
API has all the attributes of a 7, except for a long kicking game. He showed us his magic “in the latter minutes” running wide in the opposition 22, the defence stood off him “Munster like”
Simpkin should be able to get through 60-65min and having API mentoring / in his ear directly during game time would benefit greatly.
The 14 would need to be capable of playing half/hooker, Smith come to mind.
I just think we need an half that can create opportunity, organise and lead by example would do wonders and we already have him in the club. If things change 2024 then change him back to hooker.

There's a few podcasts out there that give a bit more of a balanced take. There's some structural breakdowns on some of them too. Wests Tigers Podcast have a good, broad approach, and TigerTown Podcast go into a bit of technical detail, to name a couple.
Westslife if you're feeling like a vent. They've all got their place.
Good background noise when you're on the tools.

I've never agreed with this. For me it depends if the team will be stronger overall. If your weakening a position that can be covered easier than the position the player is moving to, then it generally provides an overall stronger line up.
Moving a hooker to halfback is a reasonable move as the halfback role is more important. Not that I would move Api. I would just bring Laurie in who will play an energiser bunny type role at 6.
