Harry Smith signed with Wigan until end of 2024
 
Given what's out there & those that we may be able to pry away a season earlier than contract expiry, I reckon we'll be looking at bringing in:

6 - Tui Lolohea, Connor Tracey or Blake Taafe
7 - Braydon Trindall or Mitchell Pearce

I don't think we'll go with anyone too inexperienced as we need 'experience', 'direction' and a good kicking game in these positions.

One thing that irritates a little is that some on the forum im sure a minority have the same opinion good or bad on certain players no matter how they played . Then it occurs to me that some voicing opinions havent actually watched the game especially if its not on free to air stations . I have no problem with this having foxtel or kayo is not everyone's cup of tea
However please dont just use the social media pack mentality when assessing players it helps to watch and watch the players carefully .
I've seen comments that AJ has locked down the center role regardless of defensive issues . I've seen comments that Tommy Talau has had many games to prove himself this year when he's played 1.5 games since 2021. Also of course Nofo is rubbish regardless and Brooks has never played great ( that one is not that far off )
I watch every game and rewatch tigers games which is a bit painful and most cup games
IMO I think AJ has improved out of sight in 2023 but not in the centers .He's an aggressive 2nd row just who you want on the bench . Talau can't form an opinion on 1.5 games maybe he's no good and good luck Manly . By all means voice opinions but watching is a better form guide than the social media collective mood .
 
I actually think Tui Lolohea as 5/8 for his experience & ball running ability, with Braydon Trindall given the opportunity to direct the team at halfback plus has a good kicking game.

Then develop Galvin & Lawry with Large, Conti, Isdale behind them in age.

One reason I feel sorry for Tim and Benji and co is that recruiting and getting players to want to come to WT Is so bloody difficult
Brilliant job getting Api and Papalii and Bateman but that was really based on everyone having a bit of an open mind because season had not yet begun and people were saying
New Coach , New players maybe they will come good but now
6 games in and 0 and 6 and major injuries .Its so hard even paying overs when it might be career suicide . Well done Justin your CEO of a "No Go Zone "

I don't feel sorry for Tim at all. Appoint a real coach and recruiting will probably improve.

Yep noticed this big time in the first 20-30mins, then it wasn’t so obvious. I was thinking there was a position reshuffle that I didnt notice or maybe parra were too stupid to keep going down that side.
