Brooks is tanking

Brooks has a far better side to work with this year and has gotten even worse, meanwhile Hastings has Newcastle in the 8 with his first choice halves partner missing for most of the year.
Hastings is not great, but he is streets ahead of Brooks
Not that it's hard to be a better half.

Nice duke too🤙

He drains all the energy out of the team from the first error. His decision making is so off no one around him trusts him and then the play becomes a rabble. Yet the coach backs him publically over all else - we deserve to be running last for that reason alone. It's a garbage message for the rest of the team.
It feels like they will re sign him if they havnt already which is absolutely mind boggling.
I could not agree more, Sheens has dropped Nofa and banished him, dropped Laurie, To'a, Wakeham, Joffa, Seyfearth, Blore, Simpkin, Matamua and Tumeth all the while Brooks who is playing worse hasn't been dropped, that must be great for morale

Thanks mate, I wanted one in 1988 when they came out, but at $25,000 I was no hope, even when they dropped the price to $18,000 in 1989 I still couldn't afford it on my wages.
I got this second hand of a collector in Coffs Harbour in 2002 with 2,100km on it for $16,000, I still have it, and its worth around $30,000 now, a 1991 851 Ducati

Beautiful model that one. Hang on to it as long as you can.

He is our best half by miles. It's not close. A shoe in selection every week at this point.
I'm all for dropping Brooks, because he NEEDS to be dropped. But the part about him being out best half is unfortunately true.

Some time in reserve grade may benefit him, will definitely benefit the fans.

Brooks played well against Manly. The haters just gonna pretend like his try assists and good kicks don't exist.
Try assists? When did he rack those up?
As for his ‘good kicks’;
He had one forced drop out…but so did Starford Toa. He had 9 kicks for 222 meters…not too bad, not too great.
Additionally, he made 4 errors and tackled at 78%
He ran for 100 meters but produced 0 line engagements, 0 line breaks, 0 line break assists, 0 tries and 0 try assists from all this running he did.

He wasn’t dogshit, but ultimately did nothing that helped us win this game except throw a good pass to Toa which led to the first try.

While we can all only hope for your sanities sake your comments are facetious, one can only polish a turd so much, its still a turd.

Brooks played well for his ability and skill level which is about 2/10 for an NRL half back. So go ahead and pour praise on him for being perfectly inadequate at his job as a whole but yes, he played a great game at his real ability of a 2 out of 10.

We will just ignore his diabolical 5th play options, kicks, dropped balls, terrible passing game and complete lack of game awareness then yes, he did perform as best he could, a turd.
