David Nofoaluma #164

You'd have to ask them....

He's been dropped by every coach he's ever had (Bar Kimmorley)
There's obviously something going on there man, They can't all be wrong.
Take your issue up with them maybe?
Who's "them " what are you saying about Kimmorley ?
Don't have an issue just tired of all the hate mail or cyber whatever you call it

He actually looked like he cared. I think the recent demotion gave him the kick up the butt he needed. I really noticed him making good defensive decisions, pulling off critical tackles and running with vigour. Both our wingers were excellent getting out of our end.
The other 3-4 demotions didn’t?

I was just happy he ran straight for the most part - later in the game he started crabbing across and I thought he’d switch back to Nof mode…
But it was short lived.

When he was taking hitups at the end of the game I was so nervous expecting his classic offload at the worst time play. But he held onto it.

He had one horrible play from a drop out where he ran across field and threw a soft floater pass to Bula with the line in bula's face, but beside that he was good.

He made a lot of metres going forwards, not sideways, too.
Really surprised me because Nofo's first game back in reggies last week was pretty quiet and it didn't look like he was going out of his way looking for work.

Nofo is lucky Charlie Stains is out for an extended period, otherwise there is no way he would be playing NRL any time soon.

I guess it's up to him now to make the most of this opportunity and silence his critics.

Really feel sorry for Charlie because if Nofo goes well and Bula and Junior keep improving and stay healthy for the remainder of the season it makes it really hard for Charlie to get back into the team in the last few rounds of the season (assuming he has recovered by then) and creates a dilemma for Charlie and the club with his contract being up at the end of the year.
