Presume he's talking about Walker, but the way they are going seems he wasnt the problem id expect him to slot back in.

Who is the roooters reject????
He certainly is, no game awareness, and zero footy IQ, we need 2 new halves, even if they are both kids, or one kid plus Schuster, the Brooks experiment is 10 years deep and still failing.I'm totally with you. There are so few options. When I state I don't like it the next question is who is better ? I don't have the answer to this.
Brooks to me is a no brainer assuming they can get him. He is a decent NRL half and has shown plenty of really good plays this year. He has very few downsides to his game.
In stating that Brooks isn't a marquee half and ideally we need one.
None of those options appeal to me. Maybe Townsend and then one of those players as a back-up. I think we need more options in the halves as well but that has it's limitations. Hastings gave us another option last year but he wasn't a good enough option to really improve us.
It's a really tough market and a really tough situation.
Congratulations @Demps 👍 for the respect shown to @WesternSuburbsBoy who I assume is/was a Magpies fan.Mad story and worked out well for us.
Thanks bra.
Wonder if they know any other good prospects 😆🔥
7-Wakeham 6-Schuster would be an upgradeWakeham appears a much more confident player than Madden.
I think Madden looked terrible in both games he's started in for the Broncos.
Think Wakeham has another gear but is playing the game plan he's been told to play.
I think we can do better than what we've currently got but the club is strangely fixated on persisting with Brooks.7-Wakeham 6-Schuster would be an upgrade

Jedi and a few others are saying we keep Brooks because we can't get anyone better, I will say a few things on that, Brooks has never worked, so why persist, and how do we know they are not as good as Brooks. Brooks never gets dropped, has no accountability, how do we know how we play without Brooks.I think we can do better than what we've currently got but the club is strangely fixated on persisting with Brooks.
Unbelievable man.

Brooks may just be the handbrake to getting another half to sign, no kid wants to be stuck behind him, and no established half wants to carry the whole load as they would know Brooks is going to be no help

Seyfarth always stands out in NSW Cup and would more than hold his own at NRL level given more opportunity. So after this NSW Cup performance with Sheens looking on, who thinks this season is the last we'll see Seyfarth, Simpkins, Laurie in Wests colours & our big halfback signing for '24 will be Kurt Falls!!!
Hahaha nah mate not a Magpies fan was actually born after the merger happened but grew up in Western Sydney. My dad was a Wests fan but.Congratulations @Demps 👍 for the respect shown to @WesternSuburbsBoy who I assume is/was a Magpies fan.
Your refreshing and unbiased attitude 🙂 is a 'massive' turnaround from that of 2... ex-Forum Leaders.
I’d be happy if we kept Laurie at the club as a backup fullback there is no denying his effort and he’s super competitiveSeyfarth always stands out in NSW Cup and would more than hold his own at NRL level given more opportunity.
There is no doubt he will become an NRL top 17 regular elsewhere if we don’t give him that opportunity, he’s a much better player than he was 12 months ago.
I’ve always been critical of Laurie as an NRL fullback, but I’ve been highly impressed with his attitude and effort since being back in NSW Cup this season.
I think he lacks size and sheer speed to compensate for his lack of size, but he plays with a big heart, plenty worse than him playing NRL.
Laurie was really good, Wests had no ball, possession was almost 70/30 to Penrith, and Wests played the last 10 minutes with 11 men.Seyfarth always stands out in NSW Cup and would more than hold his own at NRL level given more opportunity.
