The fact sheens is on the defensive and quoted as saying he doesn't care about the 'outside noise' just shows there's a huge criticism of this extension.... Let's just keep doing what doesn't work for another few years
Sheens' stubbornness is really making me wonder if he has the best interests of the club first and foremost.

Brooks is still very young as sevens go. We have tried signing much older halves. Johnson 32, Pearce 34. Brooks can and is getting better with age.
Sheens said Brooks took it upon himself to take control of the last 4 games. That means coach has been asking him to take a back seat and let Doueihi do the driving.
A huge day for Brooksy today.
Every player who has battled injury and comeback lacking fitness, been down on confidence, been abused by angry fans who have never played, looks for the game to turn it around.
This is it.
Brooks will handle the abuse from the hill and turn this game on its head.

You've got no idea. The bloke is turning 29 this year and heading into his $$ twilight contract of 12-24 months at best. He should be at his peak now and he should have been at his peak for the last 2-3 years.

Johnson and Pearce have been called over the hill and the Tigers have been lambasted for going after geriatrics.

He’s just another Fwit like earl, batboy, paws and tony. It’s everyone else’s fault that Brooks hasn’t succeeded and he just needs more time. Imagine being so effing stupid not to see what’s right in front of them after 10 years.

They, along with the board and Sheens, are cancers on the club and would rather see the club suffer than admit they made a mistake backing the wrong horse.
