Had last week off due to concussion I think so it would make sense to give him another week if he is in line to play first grade. It would be a good chance for him to audition for a new contract, here or elsewhere.

Also hopeful of this, still don't want to retain him if Latu is coming - but it will be nice for the rest of the year.

Other than his defence, his passing is a little questionable too. But if he brings the dangerous running game he is capable of, he'll be a threat there.

Quite a quiet kid with no real kicking game, who looked outmuscled at fullback. Hasn’t been lighting up reserves. I don’t share your optimism.

He's been pretty good in reggies in fairness. Like our best player just about every game.

I’ll have to take your word as I don’t watch it. He’s been getting mixed reviews on here and the team hasn’t been firing. Good luck to him.

Edit: I just get Bevan French / Jai Field vibes and think he’s a future Super League star.

Laurie in reserve grade has played with really bad body language and at times looked to be not trying but the actual production has been best in the side every week. He's got this really weird way of playing like he doesn't want to be there but doing enough to demonstrate he's the best player in the side at the same time. It's kind of bizarre.

It’s a shame. When I heard about the company he was keeping last year I suspected attitude would be his undoing. Plenty of talent there but the best fullbacks nowadays don’t have an off switch.
