I think the issue is Sheens

Agree, the silly old fart is now talking up a Brooks contract extension. Starting to think he is either out to sabotage us as payback for his last stint or he is so stubborn that he refuses to accept he could be wrong, so rather than dropping a dud he doubles-down on this 10-year failed experiment with another futile extension. Time to move on from WT's as my Brooks boycott does not look like ending anytime soon.
Luke Brooks is here to stay. We all love him. No haters. Best game manager and can construct tries as good as any other half in the competition. If the extension isn't at least 3 years at $1M/season, then we should all walk down to Concord to demand answers.

that win was Sheenius
Agreed.
That was the performance I was waiting to see when he was named coach again a year ago.
100% Wests Tigers DNA. Some great combinations. Belief. A happy team.

As the man said himself, "No need for Brooksy to score 7 tries a match"

It's taken a bit longer than expected, but this team is figuring out where and how it's gonna win games.

Get off what you’re smoking.
He had one of his better games today backed up by 16 other players who also turned it on.
He is nowhere near being as good a game manager as any half in the competition.
That is farcical.
The only reason we’re even looking at extending him (and it won’t be for 3 years at million a year) is to play as a five eighth, which is basically what he’s doing now, and because Shaun Johnson knocked us back and the cupboards bare.

Putrid post

The start of the year was unacceptable, and the second half of last year was on him too in my opinion.
Last few weeks good, although I think the team got too much praise last week. Yesterday was a spiritual experience after the last couple of cowboys games at Leichhardt, so I'm happy for Sheen's and co right now.
The game is about results, not opinions, So let's see at the end hey?

This was a great performance, but it was a freak game. But the team has played proper competitive footy for over a month now.

The pack is strong, with Api's smarts and Bateman's mongrel. Uti is coming along, Papalii has gotten over his depression. Shame Joe's leaving, tho. Bloody Parra. They are as bad as the Roosters for stealing our players.

I doubted Sheens but he has got the team enjoying their footy again. Thumbs up.

Anyone who thought Tim Sheens wasn't the answer to fixing this club surely has egg on their face now. We have been slowly but surely getting better week to week and I think they have turned the corner. We are no longer easy beats and the belief in each other is there for all to see. I'm looking forward to seeing some more of these young guys come through the grades over the next year or two. Who would have thought our most potent guys are our youngest ie Toupu Bula Toa. Great to see. Keep em coming Sheensy.

Suddenly from "they are not ready, even for the NSW cup", they become "sign them for ten years"! 🐅 💪
