I would take Averillo over all of them TBH. He is a very good player that can cover a few positions.

A regular poster in the other forum said Latu Fainu was mentioned in today’s NSW Cup coverage as a recruit of the Tigers. May be 3rd hand info that has been misinterpreted but @Mistymuzzle may be onto something. Could this be the player Buzz was referring to in his column a few weeks ago?!

Gee I hope so as Latu is a huge talent! But to be fair the NSW Cup commentators barely know the names of the players running around. Listening to Spud Carroll for 80 minutes is tough.

Was the player of the competition in Harold Mathews in 2021 and had been playing NSW cup at only 17 and in Manlys top 30 despite not being eligible to play NRL this week when he turned 18. Would be an incredible signing if true

Fainu/Feledy had a strong combination in Harold Mathews. Would be great to re-unite them!

The Wests Tigers are paying 0% of Joe Ofahengue's future contract at the Parramatta Eels. This equates to a sum of $0.00 to be paid over an undisclosed period. you have caught me out and I was hoping you wouldnt ask for details but I am not sure if the $0.00 will be not paid monthly, or if it will not be paid as a lump sum on 01 November.

To complete the squad I'd like 2 forwards, a back & a half.

Frizzel or Wilton would be nice to play back row. Bateman to 13. Pole off the bench for impact similar to Lenui at the Panthers.

A young strong front rower, either upgrade James or similar.

Half is the big question. Taafe maybe as a 6, are we happy with Brooks at 7?

Alternatively I really think we get a Sharks or Warriors player. Sharks have just resigned Atkinson who is a half, they have Trindall & Dykes plus obviously Hynes & Moylan. Warriors have Johnson who would have to be resigned based on current form, then Martin, Metcalfe, Walker, Volkman & Harris-Tevita.

Surely one of them wants to be a regular 1st grader.

In saying that I think if Wakeham will accept a deal of $200K we resign him as our back up half.

I think Blake Taafe could be a handy 6 too. Probably a slight upgrade on Wakeham as he definitely has more pace than Wakeham and Taafe is also a handy goal kicker

Correct. My mistake. To'a right. Averillo left. Naden & Kepaoa back up backline players. Kepaoa on the bench is very handy. Unfortunately maybe Naden 18th man. I just think his discipline isn't the same as the rest of the current squad. Our D is great & completions have been high except for last night. Errors cost us the 18-0 start they had. Gifted field position which allowed the opportunities for them to score.
