Can anyone confirm this was said? Was on fox this arvo the reggies game Manly Norths
Any of those three would be greatIf he is going we definitely need to recruit a centre. Tass for me, Averillo or Alimoti if not him
Thanks mate. Was on fox this arvo the reggies game Manly Norths
He's the same age as Da Silva, Miller, Laulilii etc. Thanks mate.
On a side note last time I saw him in Cup he did not stand out.
Get your facts right next time. This was sloppy. You are right, my apologies. Here are the details...
The Wests Tigers are paying 0% of Joe Ofahengue's future contract at the Parramatta Eels. This equates to a sum of $0.00 to be paid over an undisclosed period. you have caught me out and I was hoping you wouldnt ask for details but I am not sure if the $0.00 will be not paid monthly, or if it will not be paid as a lump sum on 01 November.
Tony Pellow was our shot…he is RM standard..😂Be nice for us to grab a Qld cup half from obscurity that turns out to be amazing....
We've all heard the Cody Walker & Nicho Hynes story.
Imagine how good thatd be....
Taafe would be a great 6 with BrooksTo complete the squad I'd like 2 forwards, a back & a half.
Frizzel or Wilton would be nice to play back row. Bateman to 13. Pole off the bench for impact similar to Lenui at the Panthers.
A young strong front rower, either upgrade James or similar.
Half is the big question. Taafe maybe as a 6, are we happy with Brooks at 7?
Alternatively I really think we get a Sharks or Warriors player. Sharks have just resigned Atkinson who is a half, they have Trindall & Dykes plus obviously Hynes & Moylan. Warriors have Johnson who would have to be resigned based on current form, then Martin, Metcalfe, Walker, Volkman & Harris-Tevita.
Surely one of them wants to be a regular 1st grader.
In saying that I think if Wakeham will accept a deal of $200K we resign him as our back up half.
I think Blake Taafe could be a handy 6 too. Probably a slight upgrade on Wakeham as he definitely has more pace than Wakeham and Taafe is also a handy goal kicker

To'a is going great at right centre. Left side we definitely need someone if Tommy is indeed goingAs for the back... Averillo is the best option on the open market. Locks in at right centre & back 1 or 6.
Correct. My mistake. To'a right. Averillo left. Naden & Kepaoa back up backline players. Kepaoa on the bench is very handy. Unfortunately maybe Naden 18th man. I just think his discipline isn't the same as the rest of the current squad. Our D is great & completions have been high except for last night. Errors cost us the 18-0 start they had. Gifted field position which allowed the opportunities for them to score. To'a is going great at right centre. Left side we definitely need someone if Tommy is indeed going
Athletics equivalent to a test match in cricket…wake me up for the last 10mI’d love to see a 50m race between Wakeham, Hastings & Douehi.
Sometimes where you make the break is not planned and it’s difficult for players to cover 30-50 metres in 2-3 seconds to get into position to take the last pass. Most teams put up a bomb, and maybe 3 or 4 players follow it to the possible catcher with at least one going up to contest the ball, our players maybe 2 run toward the catcher with an occasional 1 player contesting.
Also we have a terrible team when it comes to backing up our own runners, yesterday one of our forwards breaks the line and runs 50 looking for support and only finds one player near him,
he spots him but 5 mtrs behind and he gets tackled an loses ball, and that player trying to support him was another forward, where was any of our fast backs to try and finish the move off.
AND WE HAVE THIS HAPPEN REGULARLY, FORWARDS MAKE THE BIG BUST AND OUR SPEEDSTERS ARE NOT IN THE PICTURE.
For Ron Massey cup maybeA half pairing of Trindall and Taafe would be good
