exactly 650k fir Flanagan clubs would take Brooks for 700k or 750k any day of the week over Flanagan
think Flanagan will end up at dragons with his old man coach and Hunt at the dogs

Brooks could have signed with the Knights for season 24 when they came knocking, then either agitated for an early release, or just played this year with us and moved next year

if you check I have said weeks ago we are after Koula got told that from someone close to Fulton. Will see how that plays out but as yet 6 weeks from being offered an extension with manly koula hasn't taken it up.

I can't stand Brooks' play the last few years and 'am probably one his biggest 'haters' on here, but over this recent month/month and a half, he's gone complete 180 on his atrocious form over the first 6 weeks, maybe that coincides with the form of a few other guys around him but definitely keen to see how he goes the rest of the season. I just wish he would bring the grubber kick to his play more because whenever I see him use it, usually is to good effect and a far more effective end to the set as opposed to a coinflip bomb to the winger..

Halves are not a generic homogeneous commodity to which you can slap on an average market price!!

And you are ignoring the shortage of quality halves in the current market creates an inflationary premium for those positions (which is compounded by desperation and ambition of struggling clubs trying to turn a corner)!

$700K is massive unders for any proven NRL quality half/five-eighth in 2023/24!!

I can't see Brooks manager agreeing to anything less than 700k. Given the lack of halves available to replace him and Sheens desire to keep him he now finds himself in a great bargaining position.

If he thinks that then we are in trouble. Should get paid for hitting KPIs.

He wasn't out of the game for ages, he has been at a few clubs recently, I think Canterbury and maybe Parra, but I agree, why bring him back, one of Sheens job for the boys signing

Well he goes court to court before June 30, so maybe they might look at it if he gets another adjournment or a conviction.
