Todd and Like both managed by IM.I've read that. Hope it works for both parties if true.
I’m not interested in Townsend he’s cooked.don't think townsend is interested in coming to Tigers or so he said yesterday.
Well we need somebody to play 7. If Chad wanted to come back to Sydney i dont think he would have many options other than WT, dogs but they have invested Oloapu and maybe Dragons now that Flanno is going to be the coachI’m not interested in Townsend he’s cooked.
Nope, Lee said Brooks is welcome to come back to the table…I thought they Did
If it is announced in coming days you would have to consider Brooks made his decision to leave some time ago regardless of what we offered. No one signs a contract that quick.
Is he currently injured? Must be if the Roosters have chosen to select a rookie at halfback this weekend?Sam Walker is probably worth a tap on the shoulder. He's got a stack of ability in my books and seems to have fallen out with Cronks strict structure. I think he'd thrive under Sheens and Benji playing more eyes up
Was just reading fox sports and the article was about who the dragons could target for next year.
One player was Matt Lodge.
It's no secret he was an absolute psycho in the past and has a history of early departures... like at practically every club bar the roosters!
But I was just thinking about if I were the tigers, would I sign him again?
I would never re-sign Moses, Matterson or Aloiai after how they left, but I think at a good price, and as long as he didn't go off his meds, I probably would.
Of course a lot comes down to things I can't possibly know - I can only judge on the surface - but he seems to have kept himself out of trouble and may have matured?
I guess what I'm saying is if he is different these days, and cheap, he'd be a very handy addition to the pack. So, purely as a player, I would.
But if he is still a complete tool, no way.
Easiest to just steer clear, but interested to read opinions on this.
I don’t know that the deadline does anything other than put the Tigers into a corner. A corner they put themselves into. That could be entirely why Brooks was given a deadline, not out of disrespect, but full knowledge of who his manager is.
There are many people who criticise giving players a deadline, but when you know how their managers drag things out in public, it makes sense to take away some of the manager's posturing power.
I think same as he’s been on $760kThat would be good for him out of Sydney if Toddlies paid Chad 800K I wonder what Brooks will get 750K
I think 630K/670K would be a fair price
Tigers need to plan for without Brooks if he's leaving. Without a deadline, that planning time dimishes.I don’t know that the deadline does anything other than put the Tigers into a corner. A corner they put themselves into.
Nothing other than that has changed.
Walker has a knee injury. Is he currently injured? Must be if the Roosters have chosen to select a rookie at halfback this weekend?
If not, he'd be filthy and rightly so.
Just pull the contract and say ta ta, ta tell! You’re Fired!Tigers need to plan for without Brooks if he's leaving. Without a deadline, that planning time dimishes.
Yeh he's an interesting case.Goes well but something is amiss with lodge
Got moved on from broncos, basically punted from the warriors and now roosters aren’t keeping him
My question is why
A definite no from me anyway for the punishment he didn’t receive
Was dropped from junior reps at Penrith then went to Storm.Yeh he's an interesting case.
Has he actually paid those people in NYC he got charged for?
He has a terrible track record that's for sure! Came from the Storm to the Tigers, then Brisbane, the Warriors (probably understandable on the surface) and not being re signed by the Roosters, but they have Leniu and maybe others coming in.
As I said, purely as a player I'd say yes, but agree there very well could be lingering issues. If he is still a problem child, then doesn't bear thinking...
Wash your mouth. Matt Lodge is a vile human being who shouldn't even be playing rugby league. Was just reading fox sports and the article was about who the dragons could target for next year.
