It's a great option for Brooks. He is a decent shot of finals and will have much less pressure outside dce. Plus if he doesn't kick on Manly suffer which is amazing.

Don't mind really, as long as Fainu comes the other way as we are swapping an option that has failed at WT for one that might succeed (and has 15 years ahead of him too).

Yes - and if he really wanted to stay - the coaches wanted him - it could have easily been sorted.

For all of has faults and he certainly has some i wish him well and he will have a far better chance of playing finals football at Manly than staying with us and being coached by a man who is 2 decades out of touch

Manly needed a running half who can tackle and that's what he does.I doubt many will be that upset at Manly in getting him if it's true.However we still need an organising half and have done for many years and you can now add a running half to that list as well.
